DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 560/MPP/Kep/7/2002 DATED JULY 31, 2002
ON
CALIBRATION SEALS OF 2003
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE,
Considering :
a. that in order to calibrate and re-calibrate the measuring, calibrating and weighing tools and their equipment (UTTP), it is necessary to stipulate calibration seals of 2003;
b. that for the purpose, it is necessary to issue a decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade.
In view of :
1. Law No. 2/1981 on legal meteorology (Statute Book of 1981 No. 11, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3193);
2. Government Regulation No. 26/1983 on tariff of calibration cost (Statute Book of 1983 No. 35, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3257) as already amended by Government Regulation No. 16/1986 (Statute Book of 1986 No. 22, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3329)
3. Government Regulation No. 2/1985 on the obligation and exemption from calibration and/or re-calibration as well as requirements for measuring, calibrating and weighing tools as their equipment (Statute Book of 1985 No. 4, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3283);
4. Presidential Decree No. 46/1979 on compulsory calibration and re-calibration of gas meter;
5. Presidential Decree No. 17/2000 on the realization of the state budget of revenue and expenditure;
6. Presidential Decree No. 228/M/2001 on the establishment of the Mutual Cooperation Cabinet;
7. Presidential Decree No. 102/2001 on the status, tasks, functions, authority, organizational structures and working arrangements of ministries;
8. Presidential Decree No. 109/2001 on first-echelon organizational units and tasks of ministries;
10. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 86/MPP/Kep/3/2001 on the organizational and working arrangement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
DECIDES : To stipulate :
THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE ON CALIBRATION SEALS OF 2003.
Article 1
Calibration seals of 2003 shall consist of legitimate seal, annulled seal, warranty seal, regional seal and identity of righteous personnel.
Article 2
(1) Legitimate seal or annulled seal shall be attached or installed at measuring, calibrating and weighing tools as their equipment (UTTP) or at written certificates in the form of cover or label or other forms upon calibrating or re-calibrating.
(2) Warranty seal shall be attached or installed at UTTP upon calibrating and/or re-calibrating.
(3) Regional seal and identity or righteous personnel shall be attached and/or installed upon calibrating.
Article 3
(1) The legitimate seal shall be in the form of regular pentagon containing Arabic Figure 03 inside, consisting of 3 (three) size with the respective distances from the angle point to the side in front of the angle : 6mm, 4mm, and 2mm.
(2) The legitimate seal as meant in paragraph (1) shall be attached and/or installed as from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2003.
(3) The validity period of the legitimate seal as meant in paragraph (1) shall start from the date of attachment and/or installation to :
a. the moment when measuring tools of glass break, fracture or damage; b. November 30, 2013 in the case of kWh meter of one and three phases; c. November 30, 2009 in the case of floating and fixed measuring tanks; d. November 30, 2008 in the case of low-pressure gas meter;
e. November 30, 2008 in the case of household water meter;
f. November 30, 2005 in the case of prover meter and measuring container specially used for testing prover meter;
g. November 30, 2004 in the case of UTTP other than UTTP in letters a, b, c, d, e and f. Article 4
lines vertical at one side, consisting of 3 (three) sizes, with diameters of : 6mm, 4mm, and 2mm respectively..
(2) The annulled seal as meant in paragraph (1) shall be effective as from moment of attachment and/or installation until the said UTTP are declared re-usable and given legitimate seals
Article 5
The warranty seal shall be in the form of a circle having the picture of an eight-leaf lotus flower, consisting of 4 (four) sizes, with diameters of : 8mm, 5mm, 4mm, and 2mm respectively.
Article 6
The regional seal shall be in the form of an ellipse respectively having a long axis of 8 mm and short axis of 6 mm, as well as a long axis of 4 mm and short axis of 3 mm, wherein Arabic figure showing code of laboratory of the Meteorology Directorate or code of Meteorology Units in regions is found inside.
Article 7
The identity of righteous personnel shall be in the form of a circle consisting of 3 (three) sizes, having diameters of : 8mm, 5mm, and 4mm respectively and Latin letter showing code of initial of name of the righteous personnel is found inside.
Article 8
The warranty seal, regional seal and identity of righteous personnel shall be effective as from the moment of attachment and/or installment to the date of revocation.
Article 9
Models of the legitimate, annulled, warranty, regional seals and identity of righteous personnel shall be as contained in specimens in the attachment to this decree.
Article 10
The implementation of this decree shall be further regulated by the Director General of Domestic Trade.
Article 11
This decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.
For public cognizance, this decree shall be published by placing it in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
