ABSTRAK

MUHAMMAD ILYASA NAZRI: Respons Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) Terhadap Komposisi Media Tanam dan Beberapa Dosis Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit di Pre Nursery, dibimbing oleh CHAIRANI HANUM dan MEIRIANI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari respons pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit terhadap komposisi media tanam dan beberapa dosis LCPKS di pre nursery. Penelitian ini dilakukan di rumah kasa Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan (32 m dpl) pada bulan April sampai Juli 2016. Metode percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan, faktor pertama adalah komposisi media tanam (M0 : Top Soil , M1 : Top soil + TKKS ( 1 : 1 ), M2 : Top soil + TKKS ( 1 : 1 ), M3 : Top soil + Serabut (Serat) ( 1 : 1 ), M4 : Top soil + TKKS +Sludge + Serabut (Serat) ( 1 : 1 : 1 : 1 ) dan faktor kedua adalah limbah cair pabrik kelapa sawit (0, 1,5, 3 l/bibit). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi bibit, jumlah daun, diameter batang, Volume akar, total luas daun, bobot segar tajuk, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tajuk dan bobot kering akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian LCPKS hingga dosis L2 berpengaruh nyata meningkatkan parameter yaitu tinggi bibit, diameter batang dan total luas daun. Perlakuan komposisi media tanam berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan. Interaksi antara kedua perlakuan hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 10-14 MST.

Application of Palm Oil Mill Effluent and in Pre Nursery, Supervised by CHAIRANI HANUM AND MEIRIANI. The objectives of the research were to study Growth Respons of Palm Oil (Elaeis guineensis jacq.)Seedling to Composition Planting Media and Application of Palm Oil Mill Effluent and in Pre Nursery. The research was held at screen house of Agricultural Faculty USU (± 32 m asl) in April to July 2014 using a factorial randomized block design with two factors and three replications. The first factor were Composition Planting Media (top soil, top soil + Empty Palm Oil Fruit Bunches (EPOFB) (1:1), top soil + sludge (1:1) topsoil + fiber (1:1), and top soil + Empty Palm Oil Fruit Bunches (EPOFB) +

sludge + Fiber (1:1:1:1) and the second factor were POME (0; 1,5; 3,0; 4,5

l/seedling). Data were analyzed with ANOVA and continued with Duncan multiple range test. The Parameters observed were plant height, leaves number, stem diameter, root volume, total leaf area, fresh and dry root and upper part weight.The results obtain were the effect of POME until dose L2 (3,0 l/seedling)
