PENGARUH PENERAPAN METODE EKSPERIMEN BERBASIS PROBLEM BASEDLEARNING TERHADAP SIKAP ILMIAH
DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR KIMIA

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan antara sikap ilmiah sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti pembelajaran kimia dengan metode eksperimen berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL)dan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan sikap ilmiah dan prestasi belajar kimia antarapeserta didikyang mengikuti pembelajaran kimia dengan dan tanpa metode eksperimen berbasis PBL apabila pengetahuan awal dikendalikan secara statistik.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 97 peserta didikkelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Depok tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria kelas yang berdistribusi normal dan homogen/ Satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 33 peserta didikmengikuti pembelajaran kimia dengan metode eksperimen berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan satu kelas sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 32 peserta didikmengikuti pembelajaran kimia dengan metode eksperimen berbasis Eksplorasi, Elaborasi dan Konfirmasi (EEK). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket sikap ilmiah, lembar observasipeserta didikdan soal prestasi belajar kimia, sehingga didapatkan data sikap ilmiah awal, sikap ilmiah akhir, dan hasil prestasi belajarpeserta didik. Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan, uji-t independen dan uji anakova.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine whether there was a significant difference in scientific before and after student atending experimental method based on problem based learning and to determine whether there was a significant difference in scientific atittude and chemistry learning achievment with and without atending experimental method based on problem based learning if prior knowledge is controlled statistically.
The population were the entire grade XI students of Senior High School 1 Depok academic year 2015/2016 Researcher take two classes as a sample trough purposive sampling methode. One class as a experiment class wich atending experimental method based on problem based learning model and another class as a control class wich atending with experimental method based on exploration, elaboration and confirmation model. The instruments in this study was a questionnaire scientific attitude, observation sheets and student achievment-test, so the data were obtained are preliminary scientific attitude, post scientific attitude and student achievment. The datas were analyzed using independent t-test, paired t-test and Anacova.
The research results showed that there were differences in the scientific attitude of students before and after learning chemistry with the experimental method based PBL, but there was no significant difference of scientific attitude students between experiment and control class. Student achievement of experimental class and control class also showed no significant differences if prior knowledge is controlled statistically.
