Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motif, penggunaan, dan efek radio Mora pada anggota komunitas Amor di Kota Bandung. Motif terbagi dalam empat kategori yakni motif informasi, identitas pribadi, interaksi dan intergrasi sosial, serta hiburan. Penggunaan dilihat dari intensitas, isi yang dikonsumsi, dan hubungan individu dengan media. Sementara efek dilihat dari kepuasan, pengetahuan, dan dependensi media.
Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data primer didapat melalui angket yang disebarkan kepada sampel penelitian yang diperoleh dengan teknik sampling acak sederhana. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui wawancara dan studi kepustakaan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan anggota komunitas Amor memiliki motif informasi yang sangat tinggi, sementara motif identitas pribadi, motif interaksi dan integrasi sosial, dan motif hiburan tergolong tinggi. Intensitas penggunaan radio Mora pada anggota Amor secara keseluruhan sangat tinggi dengan sedikit nuansa

The purpose of this research was to study motives, media usages, and effects of Radio Mora toward members of Radio Mora’s listener community named Amor. Motives were
identified by four categories such as information, personal identity, integration and social interaction, and entertainment. Media usages were measured upon intensity, contents, and relationship between listeners with the media. Effects were seen as gratifications, knowledge, and media-dependency.
This research applied survey in descriptive research as a method. Primary data were collected through questionaires spread among samples which had been chosen via random sampling. Secondary data from interviews and documents were also used.
The results indicated members of Amor had very high motive for informations, while motives for personal identity, integration and social interaction, and entertainment were high. In general, they had high intensity of media usages, but in individual level, the result may vary based on individual characteristics such as age, sex, level of formal education, occupation, expenditure, and period of membership. Most programs that they listened to were dominated by informational programs, while law area which they interested to were related to their day to day social needs as a particular member of society. The relationship between listeners and the media were really high, but the interactivity between listeners and media seemed to be low.
