This research aims at designing story book of the legend “ Si Pahit Lidah and Si Mata Empat for the children. The purposes of writing this final report are to make the children know about cerita rakyat or legend, to know how to design the story book telling about the legend Si Pahit Lidah and Si Mata Empat for the children and to know the content of the story book about the legend Si Pahit Lidah and Si Mata Empat for the children. A development research method developed by Borg and Gall is used this research. The problems are “How to design the story book telling about the legend Si Pahit Lidah and Si Mata Empat and Si Mata Empat for the children ? “ and “ What is the content of story book about the legend Si Pahit Lidah and Si Mata Empat for the children ? “. The research instruments used are preliminary study, development of the product and testing. Based on the finding, the writer made a design that can attract the children to know more about the legend of Si Pahit Lidah and Si Mata Empat. The conclusion and suggestion are this story book will be a one of story books that can give the good impact for children strated form the content and design.

PEMBUATAN BUKU CERITA DARI LEGENDA “SI PAHIT LIDAH DAN SI MATA EMPAT” UNTUK ANAK - ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat buku cerita dari legenda “Si Pahit Lidah dan Si Mata Empat” untuk anak – anak. Tujuan dari penulisan laporan akhir ini untuk membuat anak – anak mengetahui tentang cerita rakyat atau legenda, untuk mengetahui bagaimana membuat buku cerita yang berceritakan tentang legenda Si Pahit Lidah dan Si Mata Empat untuk anak – anak dan untuk mengetahui isi dari buku cerita tentang legenda Si Pahit Lidah dan Si Mata Empat untuk anak – anak. Metode pengembangan penelitian oleh Borg and Gall digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Permasalahannya adalah “ Bagaimana membuat buku cerita yang berceritakan tentang legenda Si Pahit Lidah dan Si Mata Empat untuk anak – anak ?” dan “ Apa isi dari buku cerita tentang legenda Si Pahit Lidah dan Si Mata Empat untuk anak – anak ?”. Langkah – langkah dari penelitian ini menggunakan mempelajari dahulu, pengembangan dari produk dan pencobaan. Menurut temuan, penulis mambuat desain yang bisa membuat anak – anak tertarik untuk mengetahui lebih jauh tentang legenda Si Pahit Lidah dan Si Mata Empat. Di kesimpulan dan saran adalah semoga buku cerita ini akan menjadi salah satu dari buku cerita yang bisa memberikan dampak yang baik untuk anak – anak mulai dari isi hingga desain.
