FORMED.ORG NEW INFORMATION
Because of the pandemic, FORMED.org has made changes to their format and their log in method. We no longer need to use the parish code to access our subscription. They now have a list of parishes preloaded. If you are a first
time user, you simply need to find our parish on the list and click on it. They will ask you for your name and email address, and you are registered.
Another change that I have noticed is that every time I try to go to the FORMED website, they ask for my email address and send me a link so I can access the site. I have discovered that if I do not log out of FORMED, just close my browser, I am still logged in the next time I open the site. Try this to avoid the need to receive an email each time you go to the site.
Below are excerpts from the information they provided about changes. Most importantly, in the last paragraph, there is information about how to contact them for support if you have any problems logging in. I hope you are finding content that helps you stay in touch with your Catholic Faith during this time apart.
From Formed.org:
Registering has become a lot easier and parish codes and custom registration URLs are no longer needed for your parishioners to register for FORMED through your parish! Now, parishioners simply need to go to formed.org/
signupand find your parish to register.
We have been hard at work these past few months listening to you, your pa- rishioners, and all of our customers and we are excited to announce the new and improved FORMED.
The original FORMED that you know and love now has improved perfor- mance, an enhanced search tool, new features, and new ways for our users to watch our programming, listen to audio or read ebooks on their connected TVs and devices.
Watching great Catholic content at your parish just got a whole lot easier. In addition to browser, iOS, Android and TVOS, we now offer Roku and many more avenues for you and your parishioners to engage with our content.
Offline playback, My List creation and the ability to resume watching where you left off are all features requested by our users that are now on the plat- form. Additionally, an improved search function will help you better discover the content you are looking for, making it easier to find our movies, programs, ebooks and audio.
ParishCare is happy to assist and can be contacted by email at[email protected]or by phone at 8443676331. For technical questions or concerns, the fastest method is tocreate a support ticket. You can also call at1
8443676331.We respond to every ticket and we'll get back to you during our regular hours of operation: Monday Friday, 8am 6pm Mountain Time.
