In publicizing the outcome achieved during the '9th OWHC Wodd Congress"on June 19 n 2A07 rn Kazan Russia, and in drawing more attention of the world society, to become more involved in the activities of preserving historical heritage, it has been approved to organrze an international conference and other supporting event on July 25 - 29 2008 in Solo lndonesia.
The World Heritage Conference & Expo 2008 consists of several events such as: Conference, Exhibition, Cultural Carnival, Culinary Tourism Festival, Post Tour and olher social function, and expected to be an event of information sharing among the city government in which historical heritage is located, whetheror notthey have been listed n the UNESCO World Heritage or registered member of OWHC, in seeking the best way to preserve and manage the historical heritage/sites so that to become valuable asset of the region and provides bigger contribution to the sustainability of economy development, without losing their original characteristrc.
