TENTANG

LAMBANG KOTA BEKASI BENTUK, ARTI DAN UKURAN

PERIMBANGAN LAMBANG

Lambang tersebut berbentuk perisai dengan warna dasar hijau muda dan biru langit yang berarti harapan masa depan dan keluasan wawasan serta jernih pikiran.

Sesanti “ KOTA PATRIOT “ artinya adalah semangat pengabdian dalam perjuangan bangsa.

SHAPE AND THE MEANING OF THE SYMBOL

The symbol was in the shape of shield whose background color was light green and sky blue representing future hope, wide perceptive and clear mind.

Its motto was “KOTA PATRIOT”, meaning devotion to nation struggle.

The following pictures appeared in the

A. Bambu runcing berujung lima yang berdiri tegak dengan kokoh mempunyai 2 (dua) makna :

1. Melambangkan hubungan vertikal mahluk dengan Khaliknya (Manusia dengan Tuhannya) yang mencerminkan masyarakat Bekasi yang religius.

2. Melambangkan semangat pa-triotisme rakyat Bekasi dalam merebut dan mempertahankan kemerdekaan Bangsa dan Negara yang tidak kenal menyerah sehingga Bekasi menyandang predikat sebagai Kota Patriot.

B. Perisai segi lima melambangkan ketahanan fisik dan mental masyarakat Bekasi dalam menghadapi segala macam ancaman, gangguan, halangan dan tantangan yang datang dari mana-pun juga terhadap kelangsungan hidup Bangsa dan Negara Republik Indonesia yang berdasarkan Pancasila. C. Segi empat melambangkan Prasasti

Perjuangan Kerawang Bekasi. D. Pilar Batas Wilayah.

E. Padi dan Buah-buahan melambangkan jumlah Kecamatan dan Kelurahan /

A. Bamboo spike with five points which stands upright. This picture has two meanings:

1. It symbolizes vertical relation-ship between human and God representing society of Bekasi which are religious

2. It also expresses patriotism of Bekasi people who will never surrender to defend the inde-pendence of Indonesia. For this reason Bekasi is known as Patriot City.

B. Five-angle shield representing physical and mental strength of Bekasi people to face various threat, interference, barrier and challenges which can threaten the independence of Indonesia.

C. Square shape symbolizes Kerawang Bekasi Struggle Epigraph.

D. Region border pillar.

E. Paddy and fruits which represent the number of sub-districts (kecamatan) and villages when Bekasi Municipality was formed.

Desa pada saat membentuk Kota Bekasi.

1. Buah-buahan berjumlah 7 (tujuh) besar dan 1 (satu) kecil melambangkan 7 Kecamatan:

Pondokgede, Jatiasih, Bantargebang, Bekasi Timur,

Bekasi Selatan, Bekasi Barat dan Bekasi Utara serta 1 Kecamatan Pembantu: Jatisampurna.

2. Padi berjumlah 50 (lima puluh) butir melambangkan 50 Kelurahan / Desa.

F. Tali Simpul berjumlah 10 (sepuluh) yang mengikat ujung tangkai padi dan buah-buahan melambangkan tanggal Hari Jadi, 3 (tiga) buah Anak Tangga penyangga Bambu Runcing melambangkan bulan Hari Jadi Kota Bekasi.

G. Dua baris Gelombang Laut atau Riak Air melambangkan dinamika Masyarakat dan Pemerintah Daerah yang tidak akan pernah berhenti membangun daerah dan bangsanya. Sedangkan warna-warna dalam Lambang Daerah mengandung makna sebagai berikut:

Kuning : Kemuliaan dan me-nunjukkan daerah pe-mukiman.

1. Seven big fruits symbolize seven sub-districts (Pondokgede, Jatiasih, Bantargebang, East Bekasi, South Bekasi, West Bekasi, North Bekasi) and one small fruit representing

assistance sub-district (Jatisampurna).

2. Fifty rice expressing fifty villages.

F. Ten-knot string, which ties the rice and fruits, represents the day of Bekasi birthday : while three ladders supporting bamboo spike symbolizes the month of Bekasi birthday.

G. Two line ocean waves express the never ending dynamic of society and regional government of Bekasi to develop its region and nation.

Colors in the regional symbol of Bekasi have the following meanings:

Yellow : Magnificence. It also shows settlement region.

Sky Blue : Wide perceptive and clear mind. It shows industry zone.

White : Purity of struggle.

Red : Courage to sacrifice. It also represents regions of agriculture and horticulture.

KATA PENGANTAR / Preface

Kota Bekasi Dalam Angka Tahun 2016 merupakan seri publikasi tahunan BPS Kota Bekasi yang menyajikan beragam jenis data yang bersumber dari BPS dan instansi lain. Publikasi ini memuat gambaran umum tentang keadaan geografi dan iklim, pemerintahan, serta perkembangan kondisi sosial demografi dan perekonomian di Kota Bekasi. Beberapa tabel tertentu menyajikan data pada tingkat kecamatan untuk melihat keterbandingan antar wilayah di Kota Bekasi. Untuk memudahkan pemahaman dan pemanfaatan data disertakan pula penjelasan deskriptif dari data yang ditampilkan.

Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan data terkini, publikasi Kota Bekasi Dalam Angka 2016 menyajikan data tahun 2015 yang meliputi ketenagakerjaan, kemiskinan, tanaman pangan, industri pengolahan, transportasi, ekspor impor dan PDRB. Seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan konsumen data, publikasi Kota Bekasi Dalam Angka akan terus mengalami penyempurnaan baik struktur maupun

This publication contains an overview of geography and climate, government, social-demographic developments and economic conditions in Bekasi. Some tables present data on the district level to look at comparability between regions in Bekasi. To facilitate the understanding and utilization of data, it is also included a descriptive explanation of the data shown.

To fulfill the needs of up to date data, publications Bekasi Municipality in Figures 2016 presents data in 2015 which includes employment, poverty, food crops, industrial processing, tourism, transportasoni, import export and GDRP. Along with the growing needs of consumer data, publications Bekasi Municipality in Figure will continue to improve both in the structure and content. Several sources of data have improved the quality of the data the previous year, so for the data in previous years improved data.

BAB I GEOGRAFI / Chapter I Geography

GEOGRAFI / Geography

Kota Bekasi merupakan bagian dari wilayah Jawa Barat yang berbatasan langsung dengan propinsi lain yaitu DKI Jakarta. Letaknya yang bersebelahan dengan ibukota negara ini memberikan beberapa keuntungan di sisi komunikasi dan perhubungan. Kemudahan dan kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana transportasi, menjadikan Kota Bekasi sebagai salah satu daerah penyeimbang DKI Jakarta.

Kondisi alam Kota Bekasi merupakan daerah dataran dengan kemiringan antara 0 – 2 % dan ketinggian antara 11 m – 81 m di atas permukaan air laut. Secara geografi Kota Bekasi berada pada posisi 106º55’ bujur timur dan 6º7’ - 6º15’ lintang selatan.

Bekasi is part of West Java Province which is directly adjacent to other provinces is Jakarta. Its adjacent to the nation's capital provides several advantages in the communication and transportation. The ease and completeness of transportation infrastructure, making Bekasi Municipality as one of the counterweight Jakarta.

Bekasi natural conditions is lying areas with a slope of between 0-2% and a height between 11 m - 81 m above sea level.

Bekasi geographically positioned 106 º 55 'east longitude and 6 ° 7' - 6 º 15 'south latitude.

IKLIM / Climate

Sepanjang tahun 2015, di Kota Bekasi ada tiga bulan yang tidak terjadi hujan yaitu di bulan Juli, Agustus dan Oktober. Curah hujan tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Desember, yaitu tercatat 969 mm sedangkan curah hujan terendah pada bulan September dengan jumlah curah hujan 9 mm.

During 2015, Bekasi Municipality experienced rainfall in every month except in July, August and October. The most intense rainfall was in December (969 mm), while the lowest was in September (9 mm).

Selama tahun 2015 tercatat terjadi 92 hari hujan dengan jumlah hari hujan terbanyak terjadi di bulan Januari.

Sementara itu, debit air Kali Bekasi yang melintasi Kota Bekasi tahun 2015 rata-rata 43,46 m3/detik. Sayangnya alat untuk mengetahui rata-rata kekeruhan Kali Bekasi mengalami kerusakan, sehingga tahun 2015 tidak dapat diketahui seberapa besar kekeruhan Kali Bekasi.

BAB II PEMERINTAHAN/ Chapter II Government

Sesuai dengan Perda Kota Bekasi nomor 04 tahun 2004 tentang Pembentukan Wilayah Administrasi Kecamatan dan Kelurahan, Kota Bekasi terbagi menjadi 12 kecamatan yang terdiri dari 56 kelurahan.

Kota Bekasi memiliki luas wilayah sekitar 210,49 km2_dengan

Kecamatan Mustika Jaya sebagai wilayah yang terluas (24,73 km2₎

sedangkan Kecamatan Bekasi Timur sebagai wilayah terkecil (13,49 km2_).

Batas-batas wilayah administrasi yang mengelilingi wilayah Kota Bekasi adalah :
