Good morning ladies and gentlements. Today we will have a debate between team A as the affirmative team and team B as the opposite team. Beside that, let me introduce you to our time keeper “Anjar Satriya Nugraha” and I’m “Riyana Vini Alvionita” as your moderator.
Ladies and gentlemen , before we start our debate today, let me introduce you to the each team. On my left side, the affirmative team they have Niken Rumani (stand up) as the first speaker, Aninda Kusumaningtyas (stand up) as the second speaker and the last one is Sri Muthia Sari (stand up) as the third speaker.
On my right side , the opposite team they have Afriliyani Nur Azizah (stand up) as the first speaker, Alifianna (stand up) and the last one is Dhimas Jalu Prakoso (stand up) as the third speaker.
Okay ladies and gentlement , I’d like to show you about today’s motion. Today we have “Should The Children Allowed to Playing Game Online” as today’s motion. So, ladies and gentlemen let’s start our debate. So each team has finished up their building and now they are ready to debate. So I’ll call the first speaker from the affirmative team to deliver the opinions.

# THE 1st OF THE AFFIRMATIVE TEAM
Thank you so much for the time that given to me. I’m Niken Rumani as the first speaker from the affirmative team. First of all, I would like to introduce my team’s split. For today’s motion. I’m as the first speaker from the affirmative team would like to give the definition and give arguments from knowledge perspective. Aninda Kusumaningtyas as the 2nd speaker will deliver opinions from healthy
perspective, and Sri Muthiasari as the 3rd speaker give rebuttal and strengthening the
team’s arguments.
I’m Niken Rumani from the affirmative team. I completely agree with the motion that children should playing video games. Before I deliver my arguments. I’ll be deliver the definition of playing video game.
Playing video game is a game that played with internet connection. This game usually played in internet cafe.
Ladies and gentlements, beside that I’ll deliver some arguments about the motion from knowledge perspective. My argument is :
1. Game online will indirectly teach children to understand the development of upcoming technology.
3. And the last one is the use of English language. One of the most popular games on children is konsol. It is made by foreign company. Automatically this game uses English language. When playing the game, children will find many new english vocabularies.
I think thats all my arguments. And I completely agree with the motion that the children should be allowed to playing video game. I’m Niken Rumani back to the house

Thank you so much for the time that given to me. I’m Afrilyani Nur Azizah as the first speaker from the opposite team. First of all, I would like to introduce my team’s split. For today’s motion. I’m as the first speaker from the opposite team would like to give my opinion about the motion. Alifianna as the 2nd speaker will
deliver opinion from healthy perspective. And Dimas Jalu as the 3rd speaker give
conclution of the team’s arguments.
I’m Afrilyani Nur Azizah from opposite team. I want to give my opinion about the motion. I personally think that the children should not to be allowed to playing game online. That’s right today’s technology gives many benefit for children. But they are too young to use it. And beside that the children who is addicted to the game will spend most of their time in home. They will isolate their selves from society. They hardly play with friends because they have their own game. They also look like have another world.
Maybe they can speak in English much better, but the game can change them to be a lazy person. Beside that, they become lazy to doing their homework.
So, ladies and gentlements based on my opinion that I have been delivered. I still stand up on my opinion that I disagree with the motion that said the children should be allowed ` playing game online.

Okay thank’s for the time that given to me. I’m Aninda Kusumaningtyas as the second speaker from the affirmative team. I want to give my rebuttal for the first argument of negative team. She said that the children being isolated, but I think with playing game online they can get many friends from it. Because playing game online not only at home but also at internet café with friends.
Playing game online could decrease our stress, beside that playing game online also good for our brain.
When playing the game, the children are forced to win the game is helping the children to use their logic in analizing and problem solving. So, they can learn to solve their problem in the real life.
Game online can also stimulating the brain. The players of the game can create their own game according to their want. This will help to stimulate the brain and thinking process in creating the long scenario it is the part of their creativity.
That’s my opinion. For my reason above, I absolutely agree with the motion. I’m Aninda Kusumaningtyas back to the house.

Thanks for the time that has given to me. I’m Alifianna as the second speaker from opposite team. I want to give my rebuttal for the second opinion of affirmative team.
She said that playing game online can stimulating the brain. But I disagree about the opinion. I think that playing game online is not good for the health. Maybe with playing game online can exercize the logic, but if the children have already addicted to the game, it’s not good for their health. Usually the children who as addicted to the game just have short duration of sleeping.
Children like to spend most of their time in school. However they also want to play game online. Thus, they will use their time of sleeping to play the game. If it runs for long time, it will disturb children’s health.
I think that’s all my opinion. Based on my rebuttal, I still stand up on my opinion that I disagree with the motion. I’m Alifianna back to the house.

Thanks for the time that given to me. I’m Sri Muthia Sari as the third speaker from affirmative team, here I want to deliver the conclution of our opinion.
In conclution, they who spend their time to play game online have a better social responsibility, for example : leadership and decision making.
From the knowledge perspective the game can teach the children to understand the development of upcoming technology.
The game also make the children understanding economy and teach them to learn in English language.
And from the health perspective, game online can exercizing the logic and stimulating the brain.
Game online also could decrease our stress.
That’s the conclution of our team. So, ladies and gentlement based on the definition, limitation and opinion of our team, we are still stand up on our opinion that we are agree with the motion that said allowed the children to playing game online.

# THE 3rd SPEAKER OF THE OPPOSITE TEAM
In the conclusion, in this case, games have so many negative impacts for children. We can see from the explanation above that games will influence the children’s health, social, psychology, and the last is achievement.
From the health side, the children who like playing game will get sleepless, having no appetites, and games also can make the eye witness because their eyes are too much watch on the monitor.
Second, from social side, the children who are addicted in games prefer to lock himself in his room and just playing game without paying attention about how much time they will play it than go outside with his or her friend and do the other activities with them.
The third is about psychology impact. Games can make children stress and got aggressive behavior because sometimes when they lose from the other gamer, they will show his or her anger by saying junk words (swearing) and if this situation happens continuously, they will get stress or depress.
The last is from the achievement side. Children automatically wasting their time just to play the game and they usually forget about their study so their achievement in the class will be decreased.
All of the impacts will create bad habit if the children do not change their mindset if game is bad for their life. Parents need to control the children’s activity when they are like playing games by giving time limit when they play it or by making a schedule when the children can play games and when they must to study. Indirectly, the children must obey the rules that given by parent and they’re not wasting time just to play games all day long.
