KATA PENGANTAR

Dengan memanjatkan puji syukur kehadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, kami

telah dapat menerbitkan buku “ Gresik Dalam Angka Tahun 2010 “ yang merupakan

lanjutan publikasi tahun sebelumnya, yaitu seri penerbitan yang menyajikan data dari

berbagai aspek baik ekonomi maupun sosial di Kabupaten Gresik.

Tabel – tabel yang disajikan dapat digunakan untuk melengkapi kebutuhan

informasi serta sebagai bahan untuk memantapkan perencanaan pembangunan di

Kabupaten Gresik. Selanjutnya kami selalu mengharapkan kritik dan saran dari

berbagai pihak guna peningkatan mutu dan menambah kesempurnaan buku ini.

By thanking God The mighty, we could publish “Gresik In Figures 2010“

which is the sequel of the previous year’s publication, a publication that presents

data from many aspects whether economy or social in Gresik regency.

The tables presented in this book could be used for completing

the information needs and also becoming the material to consolidate the development

planning in Gresik regency. Further more, we always hope to improve the quality and

perfectness of this book.

We would like to thank to all people, espcesially to departments/institutions

in Gresik regency who always be very helpful for the publication of this book.

I. GEOGRAFIS

1.1. Wilayah Kabupaten Gresik

Kabupaten Gresik terletak di

sebelah Barat Laut dari Ibukota Propinsi

Jawa Timur (Surabaya) dengan luas

1.191,25 kilometer persegi dengan

panjang Pantai ± 140 kilometer persegi.

Secara geografis, wilayah Kabupaten

Gresik terletak antara 112

Wilayahnya merupakan dataran rendah

dengan ketinggian 2 – 12 meter di

atas permukaan air laut kecuali

Kecamatan Panceng yang mempunyai

ketinggian 25 meter di atas permukaan

air laut.

Secara administrasi

pemerin-tahan, wilayah Kabupaten Gresik terdiri

dari 18 kecamatan, 330 Desa dan 26

Kelurahan.

Hampir sepertiga bagian dari

wilayah Kabupaten Gresik merupakan

daerah pesisir pantai, yaitu sepanjang

Kecamatan Kebomas, sebagian

Kecamatan Gresik, Kecamatan Manyar,

Kecamatan Bungah dan Kecamatan

Ujungpangkah. Sedangkan Kecamatan

Sangkapura dan Kecamatan Tambak

berada di Pulau Bawean.

I. GEOGRAPHICAL

Gresik

Regency

It is located on the north –

western of Surabaya ( Surabaya is the

capital city of East Java province ). Its

widht is 1.191,25 km

with the length

of the beach ± 140 km

Geog-raphically, Gresik territory is situated

Latitude ). The territory is low land the

altitude of which is 2 – 12 metres,

except Panceng district having altitude

25 metres.

Administratively, the

govern-ments of Gresik municipality consist of

18 districts, 330 villages and 26 sub

districts.

Approximately, one third of

Gresik territory is sea – shore zone,

that is the zone along Kebomas

district, some of Gresik districts,

Manyar, Bungah, Ujung Pangkah

while Sangka pura and Tambak are

located in Bawean Island.

Like other regions, Gresik is

included into coalition of

municipalities, namely Gresik,

Bangkalan, Mojokerto, Surabaya,

Sidoarjo and Lamongan.

The borders for Gresik

regency are, as follows : Java Sea at

the northern zone, Madura Strait at the

eastern, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto,

Surabaya at the southern and

Lamongan at the western.

II. PEMERINTAHAN

2.1. DPRD

DPRD Kabupaten Gresik

mempunyai 4 komisi yaitu komisi A,

B, C, dan D.

Di tahun 2009, komisi A

mengadakan kunjungan kerja dalam

dan luar daerah sebanyak 125 hari,

komisi B 134 hari, komisi C 140 hari

dan komisi D 125 hari.

Selama tahun 2009, DPRD

mengadakan sidang paripurna

istimewa sebanyak 4 kali dan sidang

paripurna DPRD sebanyak 4 kali.

DPRD juga telah menghasilkan 7 buah

peraturan daerah di tahun 2009.

2.2. Pertanahan

Ijin perubahan penggunaan

tanah menjadi perumahan di

Kabupaten Gresik selama tahun 2009

berjumlah 21 buah, Pengukuran tanah

menerima permohonan sebanyak 9.484

kasus dan melakukan penyelesaian

7.905 kasus.

Representative in Gresik Regency has

4 commissions, namely : Commission

A, B, C and D. In 2009, comission held

a working visit in and outside regions

as much as 125 day, comission B 134

day, comission C 140 day and

comission D 125 day.

During the year 2009, board of

Regional Representative in Gresik

Regency held special plenary hearing

as much as 4 times, and plenary

hearing of Board of Regional

Representative as much as 4 times. The

Board of Regional Representative also

had produced 7 local regulation in

2009.

2.2. Land Ownership

In 2009, there are 21 cases of

status alteration in land use permit to

become housing complexes in Gresik

regency. Then, the departement of land

measurement Affair gets 9.484

cases and has completed 7.905 cases.
