PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS
MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF MATERI LIMIT FUNGSI ALJABAR

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif materi limit fungsi aljabar yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa SMA. Multimedia dikembangkan menggunakan powerpoint dan excel. Pengambilan data dilakukan di SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan. Tahap pengembangan terbagi dua yaitu tahap preliminary yang meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa, perumusan tujuan, perumusan butir materi, mengembangkan alat pengukur keberhasilan, dan pembuatan program media. Selanjutnya tahap formative study yang dikembangkan oleh Tessmer yang meliputi self evaluation, expert review, one to one, small group dan field test. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah
walkthrough (expert review) untuk mengetahui kevalidan media, observasi (one-to-one, small group, dan field test) untuk mengetahui kepraktisan media, dan tahap akhir analisis data hasil tes dan angket motivasi belajar
(field test). Dari analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Penelitian ini menghasilkan media pembelajaran
berbasis multimedia interaktif materi limit fungsi aljabar yang valid dan praktis. Valid dari segi isi dan tujuan, bahasa dan teknis. Sedangkan praktis dilihat dari keterpakaian media. 2) Multimedia memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar dengan rata-rata nilai akhir siswa 80,96. Dan persentase motivasi belajar siswa mencapai 84% yang termasuk kategori sangat menarik

ABSTRACT
This research aims to produce an interactive learning multimedia on the subject of limit function algebra which is valid, practical and has a potential effect on learning outcomes and high school students’ motivation. Multimedia was developed by using PowerPoint and excel. Data collection was conducted in senior high school number 4 Palembang. This study uses the research method development. The development phase is divided into two stages i.e. preliminary to identify students’ needs and characters, instructional objective, material objective, development achievement standard, and creating the media program. The next stage is formative study developed by Tessmer which includes self evaluation, expert review, one to one, small group, and field test. Data collection technique used in this study is the walkthrough (expert review) to determine the validity of learning media, observation (one to one, small group, and field test) to determine the practicality of media, and finishing the test data and analysis of motivation questionnaires (field test). From the analysis of the research data it can be concluded that: 1) This research produced an interactive multimedia on the subject of limit function algebra that is valid and practical. It is valid in terms of content and aim, language and technique. Moreover, it can be used practically as learning media for students. 2) Multimedia has the potential effect on learning outcomes with an average of 80.96. And the percentage motivation questionaires of students was achieving 84% interest which is included in the very interesting category.
