Guidelines for Article Contributors

1. EEJ accepts articles in English language teaching and learning, linguistics, and literature which have not been published or being considered elsewhere. From EEJ Volume 6, Number 3, all accepted articles are published online and open access to readers. 2. To be considered for publication, manuscript should be typed in

MS Word doc format, using the font of Times New Roman, size 12, single-spacing on quarto or A4 size paper, in 4000 words minimum to 6000 words maximum (including title, abstract, content, references, and appendices (if applicable)), and submit it to: [email protected]

3. Articles will be reviewed by reviewers, while the editors reserve the right to edit articles for format and style consistency without altering the substance.

4. Articles are to be written in essay style with a subheading for each section. The subheading system is as follows:

5. Level one: ALL CAPITALS, BOLD, LEFT JUSTIFICATION 6. Level two: Capitals-Lowercase, Bold, Left Justification

7. Level three: Capitals-Lowercase, Italics, Bold, Left Justification 8. Research report article should include: (1) title, (2) full name of

writer(s), (3) affiliation(s), (4) abstract (a min. of 150 words and a max. of 250 words), (5) 2-5 key words, (6) introduction, (7) review of related literature, (8) methods, (9) findings and discussion, (10) conclusions and suggestions, (11) acknowledgement(s) (if necessary), and (12) references.

9. Non-research report article should consist of (1) title, (2) full name of writer(s), (4) affiliation(s), (5) abstract (a min. of 150 words and a max. of 250 words), (6) 2-5 key words, (7) introduction, (8) discussion, (9) conclusions, and (10) references.

10. The references should be presented alphabetically and chronologically, following the APA style. The authors mentioned in the article must be cited in the References section. Please refer to the previous online article publications for examples.

11. The articles that do not adhere to the submission guidelines will be rejected during the Editors’ initial screening.
