AMENDMENT OF DECREE OF MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NUMBER 480/MPP/Kep/7 2003
REGARDING
APPOINTMENT OF SURVEYOR TO PERFORM VERIFICATION ON NON-NEW CITY BUS AND URBAN BUS IMPORT

Considering:
a. that with respect to the extension of term of Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade No. 458/MPP/Kep/7/2003 regarding Specification and Procedure of Non-New City Bus and Urban Bus Import, as severally and lastly amended with Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade No. 420/MPP/Kep/6/2004, it is deemed necessary to extend the appointment of surveyor to perform verification by amending Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade No. 480/MPP/Kep/7/2003 regarding appointment of Surveyor to perform verification on Non-New City Bus and Urban Bus Import;
b. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to issue Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade;
In View Of:
1. Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 228/M Year 2001 regarding the formation of The Gotong Royong Cabinet;
2. Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 102 Year 2001 regarding Function, Task, Function, Authority, Structure of Organization and Ministry Working Procedure;
3. Presidential Decree of The Republic of Indonesia Number 86/MPP/Kep/3/2001 regarding Organization and Working Procedure of Ministry of Industry and Trade;
2. Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade No. 458/MPP/Kep/7/2003 regarding Specification and Procedure of Non-New City Bus and Urban Bus Import as severally and lastly amended with Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade No. 420/MPP/Kep/6/2004;
3. Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade No. 480/MPP/Kep/7/2003 regarding Appointment of Surveyor to perform verification on Non-New Used City Bus and Urban Bus Import;
D E C I D E: Stipulate:
AMENDMENT OF DECREE OF MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NUMBER 480/MPP/Kep/7/2003 REGARDING APPOINTMENT OF SURVEYOR TO PERFORM VERIFICATION ON NON-NEW CITY BUS AND URBAN BUS IMPORT.
FIRST:
Several provisions set forth in Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade No. 480/MPP/Kep/7/2003 regarding the Appointment of Surveyor to perform verification on Non-New City Bus and Urban Bus Import are amended as follows:
1. Amend the provision of THE SECOND Dictum item 1 point e and f so the entire SECOND Dictum shall be read as follows:
SECOND: Both Surveyors referred to in THE FIRST Dictum have functions:
1. to perform verification on non-new city and urban bus covering data and information with respect to: a. total seat for 20 (twenty) passengers or more, including the driver’s seat;
b. axis configuration 1.2;
d. right-drive system;
e. inspection to carbon content of exhausted gas emission in accordance with Indonesian Standard; f. brand is suitable with the brand existing in Indonesia;
g. type and variance; h. country of origin i. chassis number j. dimension k. mass
l. type/model of motor m. engine number n. cylinder content, and; o. maximum power.
2. Formulate the result of verification activity referred to in paragraph (1) into a Certificate of Inspection (COI) used for issuing Type Registration Letter (TPT).
3. Submit periodic written report regarding verification of non-new city bus and urban bus import every 3 (three) months to Director General of Foreign Trade, cq. Director of Import Ministry of Industry and Trade.
2. Amend the provision of THE FIFTH Dictum so the entire provision of THE FIFTH Dictum shall be read as follows:
FIFTH: Appointment of Surveyor referred to in THE FIRST Dictum shall be effective on July 21, 2003 and expire on June 30, 2005 on condition that it does not nullify the authority of Minister of Industry and Trade to revoke, replace and or add the appointment of Surveyor to perform verification on non-new city bus and urban bus import.
SECOND:
This Decree shall be effective as of it is stipulated and has retroactive enforceability since June 30, 2004.
