ABSTRACT
This study aims to look at the administrative of the district property and then provide a solution to the strategic steps that must be performed by the Salatiga Government, particularly the Department of Revenue, Finance and Asset Management Regions, in order to carry out the administration of the property in accordance with Permendagri 17 Year 2007. This type of research is classified on a qualitative research. This research is a case study with a descriptive analysis technique. Informants in this study are the Field Assets Revenue Service, Regional Finance and Asset Management Regions. The results of this study indicated that the administration of the property of the implementation still has obstacles and problems. The main cause is that local regulations do not regulate specifically, the lack of quality and commitment of employees, as well as the manual recording procedures. Based on these results, given the strategic proposal is expected to adopt the city government Permendagri 17 of 2007, in accordance with the conditions of the existing problems in Salatiga, providing technical training to employees to enhance the capabilities, insight, and performance of employees that will help agencies to reach its destination with ease. Beside that, the government should immediately conduct a review of the order SIMBADA owned local asset management process becomes more efficient.
