Sri Murni.1201020 Program Bimbingan untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa (Penelitian Kuasi-Eksperimen Terhadap Siswa XI SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program bimbingan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain nonequivalent pre-post test control group quasi experiment dengan teknik nonrandom-purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan inventori, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mengembangkan hipotesis program bimbingan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan divalidasi dengan desain pre-posttest quasi-experimental. Hasil utama penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program bimbingan teruji efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Keefektifan program didukung dengan temuan berikut bahwa setelah mengikuti program, sebagian besar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada aspek tanggung jawab pribadi , menetapkan target belajar yang ingin dicapai, kemampuan untuk bekerja secara kreatif, kemampuan berusaha mencapai apa yang diinginkan, kemampuan untuk mengantisipasi pencapaian pembelajaran dan kemampuan melakukan setiap kegiatan dengan sebaik-baiknya. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada guru pembimbing untuk lebih memperhatikan usaha pemberian motivasi belajar kepada seluruh siswa agar mendorong mereka mencapai prestasi belajar yang lebih baik. Bagi pihak yang akan mengaplikasikan program ini, dua panduan tambahan tersedia yaitu deskripsi program bimbingan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan panduan untuk melaksanakan program tersebut.

Sri Murni. 1201020. Guidance Program for Increasing Students’ Learning Motivation (A Quasi-Experiment to the Grade XI Students of SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung, Academic Year 2013/2014)

The present study is aimed at developing effective guidance program for increasing student’s learning motivation. The present study applies quantitative research approach with nonequivalent pre-posttest control group quasi-experimental design, and nonrandom-purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using inventory, interview, and documentary study.The study was started with developing a hypothetical guidance program for increasing student learning motivation, and validated with pre-posttest quasi-experimental design. The study comes up with the main finding that the tested guidance program is proven to be effective for increasing learning motivation of grade XI, SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung, academic year 2013/2014.The program effectiveness is supported by the following substantial findings that after attending the program most of the students have increased personal responsibility, decision of learning targets, ability to work creatively, ability to achieve what they want, ability toanticipate learning achievements, and ability to do each activity as good as possible. It is recommended that the teacher-counselors should pay more attention to the efforts of giving learning motivation for all students in order to encourage them in attaining better learning achievements. For those people who will apply the program, two supplement booklets are provided, i.e. the description of the tested guidance program for increasing student learning motivation, and a guideline for applying the program.
