ABSTRACT
Tofu industry business activities produce products and wastes, one of it is liquid waste. Some the business owners have minimum level of environmental awareness for managing waste, causing dispose carelessly. This research examines the awareness and knowledge of green accounting in small and medium tofu businesses in Salatiga in 2013. This research conducted in Salatiga with the object of tofu business owners who incorporated PRIMKOPTI HANDAYANI Salatiga in 2012. The data collection method is undertaken by interview and distributing questionnaires for tofu business owners.
From this study can be viewed that the results of the questionnaire showed that the businesses people concerned with environmental costs. They agreed if there is an obligation for paying environmental cost.
