Methyltestosterone is the oldest form of oral steroids developed by different manufacturers, and promoted in various countries including the United States. It is quite androgenic, with least anabolic consequences. In sports, Methyltestosterone is commonly used to encourage aggression among power lifters and those looking to enhance their physical exertion.

The common side-effects associated with Methyltestosterone are abnormal hair growth; abnormal skin sensations; acne; anxiety; baldness; breast growth; changes in sexual desire; general body discomfort; headache; mood changes.
