INDOSAT ANNOUNCES THE CHANGE OF ACCESS
CODE FOR INTERNATIONAL CALL FLAT CALL 016
WITH 01016
Jakarta, 4 December 2006 – Indosat today announced that the change of access code for international call Flatcall 016 to 01016 effective since 1 December
2006. Ministry of Communication and Informatics Decree No.
13/PER/M.KOMINFO/03/06 requires operators to change Internet Telephony for Public Prefix format from “01X” to the new prefi x format of “0101X” on 31 December 2006 at the latest, Indosat effectively complies with the regulation in advance or ahead of the deadline.
“The change of access code is conducted to comply with the regulations requirement, Since Indosat is one of single-stage Internet Telephony for Public license holders with access code “016”, it needs to be changed to 01016,” stated Wahyu Wijayadi, Marketing Director Indosat.
The change was effective since 1 December 2006 with promotional campaign on flat tariff to all destination countries using 01016 of Rp250/6 sec. The Rp250/6sec tariff or equal to Rp2,500/minute is already including airtime cost but subject to VAT, effective for all day long including weekends and national holidays (other than special promo for 10 countries) up to 31 May 2007.
While special tariff which has been launched with the tariff of Rp100/6 sec, applicable from areas in Indonesia to 10 destination countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hongkong, United States of America, Canada, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, and Brunei Darussalam, is still effective up to 31 March 2007 by using the new access code of 01016.
International call with special tariff of Rp100/6 sec is already including airtime and VAT and applicable for all day long, which is also applicable for weekends and national holidays.
The way to make international calls using FlatCall 01016 is very easy, just dial
01016+country code+area code+telephone number, through Matrix , Mentari, IM3, StarOne ,Jagoan, and Indosat Phone.
