ABSTRAK
Salsha Rosa Affandi, NPM 210103110202, Tugas Akhir, 2014, “Tinjauan Mengenai Program Musik “Sunday Rock” di Radio Global 89,7 FM Bandung”. Dosen pembimbing, Drs. Dian Wardiana Sjuchro M.Si, Program Diploma III Pendidikan Ahli Komunikasi Terapan, Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor. Laporan tugas akhir ini dibuat bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil pengamatan penulis di Radio Global 89,7 FM Bandung.
Ada tiga pokok bahasan yaitu yang pertama latar belakang terbentuknya program ini, lalu yang kedua proses produksinya dan yang ketiga untuk mengetahui proses pengolahan musik yang diputarkan di program musik “Sunday Rock” di Radio Global 89,7 FM Bandung. Hasil tugas akhir ini menunjukan bahwa program Sunday Rock adalah program musik yang mengedepankan musik rock dengan format single DJ, program ini mengangkat semua genre rock. Proses produksi program Sunday Rock dibuat sesuai dengan proses perencanaan program, pengorganisasian program, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan program. Pengolahan musik untuk program Sunday Rock dilakukan oleh music director yang bertanggung jawab dan berwenang atas lagu yang diputar di program
Sunday Rock.
Setelah melakukan observasi dan pengamatan di radio Global 89,7 FM Bandung, tidak lepas dari hasil observasi terhadap program musik Sunday Rock, ada beberapa poin yang harus dibenahi diantaranya mengadakan program off-air, supaya program musik Sunday Rock lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Bekerjasama dengan pihak label untuk mendatangkan band atau penyanyi rock ternama dan terkenal di Indonesia. Mengupdate lagu-lagu rock terbaru dan selalu memberikan lagu-lagu rock yang diinginkan oleh pendengar.

The final report made the aim of presenting the results of the author's observation on the Global Radio 89.7 FM Bandung.
