Dengan ridho dan karunia Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuasin dapat menyelesaikan ” Publikasi Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Kabupaten Banyuasin Tahun 2008 ” yang merupakan kerjasama antara Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuasin dengan Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Banyuasin.
Buku PDRB Kabupaten Banyuasin Tahun 2008, menjadi sangat relevan dengan semakin meningkatnya aktivitas pembangunan di segala bidang terutama pembangunan ekonomi yang memerlukan dukungan data statistik yang akurat, menyeluruh dan mutakhir guna membantu melaksanakan fungsi-fungsi manajemen pembangunan Kabupaten Banyuasin.
Sebagai indikator pembangunan ekonomi makro, PDRB memberikan gambaran ekonomi secara sektoral yang sangat penting artinya dalam menyusun kerangka acuan rencana pembangunan di Kabupaten Banyuasin, sehingga pembangunan ekonomi dapat diarahkan untuk tumbuh dan berkembang sesuai dengan potensi daerah.

By alacrity and grant from God, government of Banyuasin Regency finished the " Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) of Banyuasin Regency 2008", It’s cooperation between government of Banyuasin Regency with Statistic of Banyuasin Regency.
Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) of Banyuasin Regency 2008, very relevant with the increasing of development activities in all area especially economics development need support by accurate totally and recent statistic utilize to execute the function of management of Banyuasin Regency development.
As macro economic development indicator, Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) give the sectorally economic picture, It’s very important to compile reference frame of development plan in Banyuasin, so that economic development can be instructed to grow and expand as according potency of area.
We expect presumably “Gross Domestic Regional Product” of Banyuasin Regency 2008 can give important information in sides that want it. To all sides that join in arrangement and publication, submitted maximum thank pronunciation.

KATA PENGANTAR KEPALA BAPPEDA KABUPATEN BANYUASIN
Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) lazim dikenal sebagai salah satu instrumen pemantau pergerakan kapasitas perekonomian suatu daerah dari periode tahun ke tahun berikutnya. Ketersediaan informasi PDRB secara periodik akan menjadi sangat penting untuk keperluan perencanaan dan perumusan kebijakan baik oleh pemeritah (daerah) maupun pihak-pihak lain, termasuk dunia usaha yang pada umumnya terkait dengan rencana investasi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diatas pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuasin sejak 2003, melalui kerjasama dengan pihak BPS setiap tahun mengupayakan ketersediaan informasi tentang PDRB dimaksud termasuk tahun 2008. Oleh karena itu melalui kata pengantar ini, kami menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang membantu, sehingga salah satu tugas pelayanan informasi dalam bentuk buku PDRB telah tersusun serta dipublikasikan, dan dengan demikian diharapkan akan menjadi salah satu acuan informasi bagi pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan.

Availibility of GDRP information PDRB periodically will become of vital importance for planning and good policy formulation by regen vy goernment and also other side, including corporate world that is on generally related to invesment plan. Pursuant to the mentioned above, Government of Banyuasin Regency since year 2003, passing cooperation with BPS every year strive the availibility of information about such PDRB including year 2008.
