dependent. There is happen ‘buBerfly effect’ in the world. ‘BuBerfly effect’ is what happens in one country has impacts fas beyond its borders.

researchers, human & animal health professionals at all) in the region understand the concept of One Health

One health approach had been implemented by the government in 2005 through the establishment of Indonesia NaQonal CommiBee for A v i a n I n fl u e n z a C o n t r o l a n d Pandemic Influenza Preparedness which had coordinated acQviQes in combaQng, control and prevenQon of avian influenza in Indonesia.
As in 2012, One Health will be promoted as one of naQonal health agenda. Faculty of Public Health Universitas Indonesia in 2011 will iniQate One Health into some programs related to Environmental Health. Indonesia is a country with a very diverse mix of residents and has total populaQons of around 200 million people and 105 state u n i v e r s i Q e s s p r e a d a c r o s s 3 3 provinces. Currently, between 105 s t a t e u n i v e r s i 2 e s t h a t a r e categorized as research universiQes is sQll very limited. To improve the quality and quanQty of produced
research, Indonesia needs for the establishment of the internaQonal prospecQve study, which will be able to make the publicaQon of research arQcles to internaQonal journals.
The Indonesia One Health University Network (INDOHUN) was established in January 2012 as a pla^orm where leading academicians, stakeholders, scienQsts, communiQes, and professionals from Indonesia could transcend provincial and naQonal borders to address issues of regional and global concern

The 1st acQvity, Introducing One Health in the NaQonal Conference of the Indonesian Public Health AssociaQon ( I PH A Na Q o n a l C o n f eren c e) , h a s c o n d u c t e d s u c c e s s f u l l y o n 3 ‐ 7 September 2013 at Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. IPHA NaQonal Conference is an annual large‐scale conference for public health experts from all around Indonesia. For 2013, IPHA NaQonal Conference is held in Kupang from 3‐7 September 2013. In this occasion, INDOHUN get the chance to promote One Health concept through keynote speech, plenary session, and training.
