Lembar Penjelasan kepada Subjek Penelitian
Selamat pagi/siang, Bapak/Ibu,
Saya Taufik Ashar, saat ini sedang melakukan penelitian yang berjudul
‘Analisis Risiko Asupan Kadmium melalui Oral dari Air Sumur terhadap
Kejadian Albuminuria di Sekitar TPA Namobintang Kecamatan Pancurbatu
Kabupaten Deli Serdang’. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa
besar kandungan kadmium dalam tubuh dan fungsi ginjal masyarakat yang
mengkonsumsi air yang bersumber dari air sumur di sekitar TPA Namobintang.
Dengan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat diketahui apakah efek toksik kadmium
terhadap ginjal telah terjadi atau belum untuk menentukan manajemen risiko
untuk pencegahan terhadap kerusakan lanjut akibat mengkonsumsi air dari sumur
di sekitar daerah ini.
Bapak/ibu akan diminta untuk mengumpulkan urin selama 24 jam yang
berguna untuk mengetahui kandungan kadmium dalam tubuh, dan fungsi ginjal
Bapak/ibu dengan pemeriksaan konsentrasi albumin dan kreatinin urin. Bapak/ibu
juga diminta mengumpulkan air yang akan digunakan untuk dimasak yang berasal
dari air sumur dalam sebuah ember berukuran 30 liter. Hal ini dilakukan untuk
mengetahui volume air yang Bapak/ibu konsumsi setiap harinya. Kadar gula darah
bapak/ibu juga akan diperiksa dengan mengambil sedikit darah Bapak/Ibu melalui
tusukan jarum di ujung jari. Begitu pula akan dilakukan pemeriksaan tekanan
darah menggunakan tensimeter dan stetoskop. Seluruh prosedur pemeriksaan
terhadap Bapak/Ibu tidak dikenakan biaya.
