Caldwell, Idaho. An industrial survey was made of the community showing the volume of business and the production possibilities. This was done to eliminate waste and to secure new ind·ustries. One meeting was given over for boosting the dairy industry.
Calgary, Alta. Kiwanians assisted the board of trade in a drive for additional members.
Chattanooga, Tenn. A milk war was ended by conferences with producers and distributors so an equable price could be secured and harmony main- tained.
Covington, Ga. Sponsored a county canning factory and secured a large elec- tric sign advertising the city.
Darlington, S. C. Helped in the establishment of a new bank and solicited advertising funds for the tobacco market. All officials of the building and loan associations were asked to meet to consider increasing the activities of the home loan bank.
East Suburbs, Kansas City, Mo. Protested to the city council against pro- hibiting suburban coal dealers from selling within the corporate limits of the city. During the trade-at-home campaign a committee was appointed to inspect and grade the various mercantile establishments. Prizes were offered to those showing the greatest improvement in merchandise dis- played.
Elwood, Ind. Endorsed an anti-hoarding campaign and held a mass meeting to prevent withdrawal of bank funds without a 90-day written notice.
Sponsored a proposed bank reorganization. Engaged in the preparations for a horse show and the club was instrumental in reorganizing a com- munity council. We helped to make the merchants' exposition a success and became interested in an automatic lock nut proposition which was the invention of a local individual.
Gas City, Ind. The Committee on Public Affairs was influential in having a factory remain in operation after the plant officials had ordered the in- dustry stopped.
Geneva, N. Y. The club is assisting in traffic problems so out-of-town buy- ers may have sufficient parking accommodations.•
Georgia Kiwanis District. Every one of the 2,167 Kiwanians in the state of Georgia participated in a state-wide campaign to increase the use of cot- ton. All members were urged to wear cotton suits starting with the first regular meeting in May.
Hollywood, Calif. One of the foreign trade programs of the club gave suf- ficient information to the officials of an ice cream company so they were able to run their plant at full capacity for 24 hours each day supplying the trade in Honolulu and South America.
Jefferson City, Mo. Our help was given the Chamber of Commerce in a campaign to sell $300,000.00 worth of stock in a reorganized and con- solidated bank merger.
Kenosha, Wis. A series of booster meetings was held with the plan of en- couraging and increasing the prospects for our industries.
Lowville, N. Y. Seventy-eight merchants joined in our trade stimulating campaign. Prizes were offered and approximately 5,000 people were brought to town.
Madison, S. D. Invited all business men to a national merchants' institute and organized a live business men's club to replace the Chamber of Com- merce.
Milford, Ohio. Sponsored the establishment of a credit rating bureau for the business and professional men.
Monroe, Ga. The main work of the club was the establishment of a curb market and a small canning plant.
Montreal, P. Q. During better business week, the club endeavored to put at least an additional $500,000.00 in circulation so there could be unemploy- ment relief. One hundred thousand pledge cards, asking citizens to spend a minimum of $5.00 during the week, were distributed. The results after a general survey showed that merchants had realized an excellent business pick-up. The Committee on Public Affairs cooperated with the Industrial Commission for bringing new industries into 11Jontreal and the Province.
Niles, Ohio. A membership campaign for the board of trade was sponsored by our club.
Norwalk, Calif. The club spent a great deal of time in bringing to an end a milk war which if continued would have brought disaster to both producers and distributors.
Ozark, Ala. A series of trade days during the early months of the year brought approximately 4,000 people to our town.
Pullman, Wash. Helped to organize a vigilance committee to protect busi- ness houses against robbery and assisted in securing a new ventilating system for a hotel.
Shamokin, Pa. Our main interest was to have men returned to the various mines which had been closed because o'f a strike. After two years of hard work the club was rewarded when the state asked for bids for an eastern outlet to Shamokin. This project will cost about $250,000.00 and means big things for the next ten years.
Shenandoah, Iowa. The annual Kiwanis tour for 1932 was to Niagara Falls.
Every one enjoyed the trip.
Smithfield, N. C. Stimulated increased sales among local merchants, ap- pointed an anti-hoarding committee and raised $1,200.00 for advertising the tobacco market. The club is interested in the building of another to- bacco warehouse and better parking accommodations for prospective buy- ers.
Somerset, Ky. Secured a milk plant, sponsored a beauty contest to aid local merchants in stimulating their business and appointed a committee to consider the building of a tobacco warehouse.
Watonga, Okla. A series of good-will meetings were held in neighboring towns. This gave an opportunity of each man meeting his competitor and to have business' men get better acquainted.
Waupun, Wis. A committee appeared before the State Industrial Commission in the interest of our local industries.
Waycross, Ga. Promoted and encouraged cattle raising in the southern part of the state and the club is attempting to locate a land bank in Waycross.
Conducted an anti-hoarding campaign and a wear more cotton program.
Held an All-Georgia products luncheon and assisted in securing a new factory for the town.
Wenatchee, Wash. The club opposed all misleading advertising so the buy- ing public would not be mislead in their purchases.

Berwick, Pa. We held a welcome meeting for 50 new families from New York City and St. Louis who were brought here by the American Car &
Foundry Company.
Bloomsburg, Pa. We helped secure a textile manufacturing company which will employ 100 men and women permanently.
Carey, Ohio. The committee on industry was instrumental in bringing a clothing manufacturing plant to our town.
Lindsay, Ont. When it appeared that an industry would leave our communi- ty the club subscribed $4,000.00 for this company which employs a large number of men and women.
Mendota, Ill. A cheese factory has been started in this community.
Muleshoe, Tex. A successful can1.;1ing factory is now in operation.
Pharr, Tex. Due to our active work, Pharr was finally selected by the State Highway Commission as headquaters for 16 counties in South Texas.
This will bring 30 new families to our community and will make the town the main distribution center for this section.
Sedalia, Mo. Kiwanians helped the Chamber of Commerce in securing funds for the establishment of a broom factory.
Toronto, Ohio. Through the efforts of the club a factory site and building was secured for manufacturing a traffic light reflector.
