Tatang Mulyana was born in Bandung, Indonesia, in 1962. He
received Physic degree from Padjadjaran University (UNPAD), Bandung, Indonesia,
in 1987. He received M.Tech degree in Nuclear Engineering with Instrumentation
and Control System Program Study from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB),
Indonesia, in 1996, and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Tun
Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), in 2014. In 1988-2000, he joined Nuclear
Engineering Research Center, the National Atomic Energy Agency (PPTN-
BATAN), Bandung, Indonesia, as a Researcher with field research of Physic and
Metallurgy and Design of Nuclear Power Plant. In 2000-2004, he joined Universiti
Teknologi Malaysia–Kolej Legenda Langkawi (UTM-KLL), as a Lecturer in
Computer Science School. In 2004-2014, he joined Universiti Tun Hussein Onn
Malaysia (UTHM), as a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Faculty,
and since 2014, he has been working in Telkom University, Bandung, Indonesia, as a
Lecturer in Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Industrial & System
Engineering. His current research interests include heat exchanger and boiler drum
system identification, power plant control design and implementation, manufacturing
production system and automation.
