CHAPTER IV: FINDING AND DISCUSSION
B. Discussion
This part the reseacher discussed about the changing in the point of view and in the grammatical field in order to discover the accuracy, acceptability, and readability in the students’ translation in implementing transposition and modulation procedures.
a. Transposition procedure
The data obtained in the implementation of transposition procedure in the students’ translation. And for more detail described as follows:
a) Structural shift
In this part there were 86% students implemented structural shift, the percentage was taken from the number of the students implemented structural shift are 26 then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage. The example and discuss of this part reveals as follow:

As a pregnant woman (MH) who drinks alcohol, the alcohol is passed into her bloodstream almost simultaneously.
Target language (TL):
Sebagai seorang wanita hamil (HM) yang meminum alkohol, alkohol itu masuk melalui aliran darahnya hampir secara bersamaan.
From the data above, the noun phrase stated in SL “pregnant woman”
has the pattern of M + H and it is change into “wanita hamil” in TL which is H+ M. The system or language rule in Indonesian does not same with the system or language rule in English, the rule of M + H in English will automatically change into H+M in Indonesian.
b) Unit shift
In this part there were 53% students implemented unit shift, the percentage was taken from the number of the students implemented unit shift are 16 then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage. The example and discuss of this part reveals as follow:

Target language (TL):

From the data above, the word “vulnerable” in SL is changing into Indonesianto be phrase “ mudah diserang” in TL.
c) Intra-system shift
In this part there were 76% students implemented intra-system shift, the percentage was taken from the number of the students implemented intra- system shift are 23 then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage. The example and discuss of this part reveals as follow:

Target language (TL):
Janin manusia sangat rentan dengan alkohol karena sangat cepat menyebar kedalam darah melalui jaringan sel dan selaput.
From the data above, the plural noun phrase “tissues and membranes” in SL is changing into the singular noun phrase”jaringan sel dan membran” in TL.
d) Level shift
In this part there were 53% students implemented level shift, the percentage was taken from the number of the students implemented intra- system shift are 16 then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as
respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage. The example and discuss of this part reveals as follow:

As the fetus is connected with mother through the bloodstream, so the alcohol passes directly into the bloodstream of the fetus as well. Thus, pregnant woman are strictly forbidden to drink alcohol.
Target language (TL):
Sebagai janin dihubungkan dengan jaringan darah ibu, jadi alkohol masuk ke jaringan darah secara langsung melewati jaringan darah pada janin. Dengan demikian, wanita hamil dilarang keras minum alkohol.
In SL “ly” which is relatively functioned as suffix in “direct-ly” is change into thelexical “secara” in TL, so “directly” in TL is mean “secara langsung”.
b. Modulation procedure
The data obtained in the implementation of modulation procedure in the students’ translation. And for more detail described as follows:
a) Active for Passive
In this part there were 53% students implemented active for passive, the percentage was taken from the number of the students implemented active for passive are 16 then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as
respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage. The example and discuss of this part reveals as follow:

Target language (TL):
Salah satu obat-obatan yang paling berbahaya untuk wanita hamil adalah alkohol (P)
From the example above the active sentence in SL, indicated that is changed by passive sentence in TL. The changing of active to passive from the data above gives the influence toward the point of view of the reader.
b) The changing of adjective stylistic form to another stylistic adjective form
In this part there were 50% students implemented active for passive, the percentage was taken from the number of the students implemented active for passive are 15 then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage. The example and discuss of this part reveals as follow:

From the data above, the adjective “vulnerable” in SL that has meaning
“mudah diserang”is change into adjective also in TL.
1. The accuracy of the students’ translation in implementing transposition and modulation procedure
There were 5 sentences in one paragraph that have been translated by 30 students of the sixthsemester, to find out the accuracy of the students’ translation in implementing transposition and modulation, the reseacher analyzed all sentences in one paragraph.
The data obtained on the accuracy of the students’ translation in implementing transposition and modulation procedure there were 190%, the percentage was taken from the number of the students who the translation was accuracy are 19, then multiplied by 3 as a score of sccuracy, and then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by
100% to get the percentage. The example and discuss of this part reveals as follow:

As the fetus is connected with mother trough the bloodstream, so the alcohol passes directly into the bloodstream of the fetus as well. Thus. Pregnant women are strictly forbidden to drink alcohol.

Sebagai janin dihubungkan dengan jaringan darah ibu, jadi alkohol masuk ke jaringan darah secara langsung melewati jaringan darah pada janin. Dengan demikian, wanita hamil dilarang keras minum alkohol.
According the data above, the information in SL is suitably conveyed in TL. The sentence or source language text is shifted accurately in the target
language and no distortion meaning, therefore the meaning in SL is obviously conveyed in TL.
2. The acceptability of the students’ translation in implementing transposition and modulation procedures
There were 5 sentences in one paragraph that have been translated by 30 students of the sixth semester, to find out the acceptability of the students’
translation in implementing transposition and modulation, the reseacher analyzed all sentences in one paragraph.
The data obtained in the acceptability of the students’ translation in implementing transposition and modulation procedure there were 220%, the percentage was taken from the number of the students who the translation was acceptability are 22, then multiplied by 3 as a score of sccuracy, and then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage. The example and discuss of this part reveals as follow:

According the data above, the information in SL is suitably conveyed in TL. The sentence or source language text is shifted as a nature translation, technical term that using in common used and intimate for the reader, and sentence used in TL agree with principle of indonesia language.
3. The readability of the students’ translation in implementing transposition and modulation procedures
There were 5 sentences in one paragraph that have been translated by 30 students of the sixth semester, to find out the readability of the students’
translation in implementing transposition and modulation, the reseacher analyzed all sentences in one paragraph.
The data obtained in the readability of the students’ translation in implementing transposition and modulation procedure there were 290%, the percentage was taken from the number of the students who the translation was readability are 29, then multiplied by 3 as a score of readability, and then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage. The example and discuss of this part reveals as follow:

According the data above, word, technical term, phrase, clause, sentence or translation text can understand easily by the reader.
Qualified aspect value are the value given for every aspect in the translation category and has a difference of each aspect, for aspect accuracy has value 3, and for aspect acceptability has value 2, and for aspect readability has value 1. The data obtained on the table above shows the qualified aspect value in the students’ translation. And for more detail described as follows:
1.) Accuracy
There were 170% for the students’ translation who acurate in implementing transposition, the percentage was taken from the number of the students who the translation was accuracy in implementing transposition are 17, then multiplied by 3 as a score of accuracy, and then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage.
There were 100% for the students’ translation who acurate in implementing modulation, the percentage was taken from the number of the students who the translation was accuracy in implementing modulation are 10, then multiplied by 3 as a score of accuracy, and then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage.
2.) Acceptability
There were 146% for the students’ translation who acceptability in implementing transposition, the percentage was taken from the number of the students who the translation was acceptability in implementing transposition are 22, then multiplied by 2 as a score of acceptability, and then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage.
There were 86% for the students’ translation who acceptability in implementing modulation, the percentage was taken from the number of the students who the translation was acceptability in implementing modulation are 13, then multiplied by 2 as a score of acceptability, and then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage.
3.) Readability
There were 73% for the students’ translation who readability in implementing transposition, the percentage was taken from the number of the students who the translation was readability in implementing transposition are 22, then multiplied by 1 as a score of readability, and then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage.
There were 40% for the students’ translation who readability in implementing modulation, the percentage was taken from the number of the students who the translation was readability in implementing
modulation are 12, then multiplied by 1 as a score of readability, and then divided by 30 (taken from the total of the students as respondents) and then multiplied by 100% to get the percentage.
CHAPTER V
CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
A. Conclusion
Considering the findings and the discussion in the previous chapter, the researcher would like to conclude that based on the three aspects :
1. The aspect of accuracy, showthe result of the students’ translation of the sixth semester students of FKIP Unismuh Makassar in the implementation of transposition and modulation procedures there were 56.6% for the students who implemented transposition in their translation, and 33.3% for the students who implemented modulation in their translation.
2. The aspect of acceptability, showthe result of the students’ translation of the sixth semester students of FKIP Unismuh Makassar in the implementation of transposition and modulation procedures there were 73.3% for the students who implemented transposition in their translation, and 43.3% for the students who implemented modulation in their translation.
3. The aspect of readability, show the result of the students’ translation of the sixth semester students of FKIP Unismuh Makassar in the implementation of transposition and modulation procedures there were 73.3% for the students who implemented transposition in their translation, and 40% for the students who implemented modulation in
B. Suggestion
From the findings presented earlier in chapter four, here are some suggestions that can be taken as a consideration.
1. Suggestions for the students
This research can be a reference and add to conception for students in translation field. Especially in transposition and modulation procedure. So they can increase their skill in translation, especially in procedure in translation.
2. Suggestions for the lecturers
This research can be a reference for lecturers to teach translation, and it can be an evaluation for lecturers to teach procedure in translation. The lectures will be able to know how the implementation of the students translation and modulation proceduresin the students’ translation.
This research may be taken as a consideration for other researcher.
Furthermore the researcher strongly recommended the better and boarder study about this case.

CURRICULUM VITAE
Sitti Aisyah was born on June 13th, 1992 in Bonerate, Selayar, South Sulawesi. She is the last daughter of the marriage of Muhammad Amin and Apaso. She have three sisters and one brother, Nur Jannah, Niswati, Sitti Madaiyah and Maskur.
She began her study at Elementary School namely SDI Bonerate graduated in 2005. She continued her study at SMPN 1 Pasimarannu and graduated in 2008.
Then she joined at SMKN 1 Benteng Selayar and graduated in 2011. In the year, she was registered as a student of English Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar.
During her study at university, she joined organization, namely GEMPITA as treasurer, and LKIM PENA.
At the end of her study, she could finish her thesis with the title An Analysis of the Implementation of Transposition and Modulation Procedures in the Students’ Translation ( A Descriptive Study at the Sixth semester Students’ of English Department FKIP Unismuh Makassar.
