Employment
Employee management is the responsibility of the Company’s HR Development Division, which is coordinated by the Vice President Director. The Company adheres to a number of principles in employee management, including respecting employee’s human rights and avoiding discriminatory treatment of employees based on ethnicity, religion, race, gender, age, marital status, physical disability, and other classifications prohibited by the laws and regulations, providing incentives for positive performance, imposing sanctions on employees who violate the rules, etc.
As of December 31, 2022, the number of permanent employees of Perum Perumnas was recorded at 529 people, a decline of 328 people or 38.271% compared to 2020, which amounted to 857 people. The decline was in line with employees who leave or no longer work at the Company for various reasons justified by law, such as retirement, death or resigning at their own request.
On the other hand, in 2022, only 5 people were recruited by the Company. The complete composition of new employees from the recruitment is presented in the following table: [GRI 401-1]

di Perum Perumnas di atas, maka bisa dihitung tingkat perputaran karyawan atau turnover selama tahun 2022. Dalam laporan ini, turnover diartikan sebagai suatu keinginan seorang karyawan untuk berpindah, berhenti atau keluar dari tempat bekerja yang dilakukan secara sukarela atau atas kemauan sendiri maupun keputusan dari organisasi/perusahaan. Dengan demikian, karyawan yang tidak lagi bekerja di Perusahaan karena pensiun alami dan meninggal tidak dihitung sebagai faktor tinggi atau rendahnya tingkat turnover. Untuk menghitung tingkat turnover karyawan, Perum Perumnas menggunakan rumus sebagai berikut:

The employee turnover rate during 2022 could be calculated based on the number of employees joining and leaving the Company as described above. In this report, Turnover is defined as an employee's desire to move, quit, or leave their place of employment, whether done voluntarily, on their own accord, or as a result of a decision made by the organization/company.
Therefore, employees who leave due to normal retirement or death are not counted as a factor of high or low turnover rate in the Company. To calculate the employee turnover rate, Perum Perumnas uses the following formula: [GRI 3-3]
With this formula, the turnover rate for 2022 amounted to 48.19%
