This chapter explains about the presentation of data analysis as the discussion of the research. In collecting the data the researcher used the fill in the blank test as the instrument. Data Analysis in this research is quantitative which the data is measured in the form of numbers. The subjects of this research were the second grade of SMPN 3 Bungoro with 25 samples. The numbers of questions are 20 questions that contain nouns, verbs, and adjectives.
After collecting the data, the researcher analyzed the data to find out the use of Memrise Application to improve students’ listening skill. The test divided into two types Pretest before treatment and Posttest after treatment. The result of data analysis showed that there was improvement of the students’ listening ability with using Memrise Application. The researcher describes the improvement of the data as follow:
Vocabulary
The Students’ Score
Pre-Test Post-Test Improvement (%)
Noun O1 = 41,09 O2 =69,68 69,5%
Verb O1 = 60,53 O2 =73,11 20%
Adjective O1 = 65,28 O2 =79,96 22,4%
Listening skill O1 = 55,40 O2 = 74,22 33,9%
Table 2 Students' Improvement Score

Graphic 1 Students’ Mean Score
The data was collected using SPSS 25.0. From the table paired sample statistics showed that students’ mean score for Pre-Test was 55.40 and students’
mean score for Post-Test was 74,22. From the graphic above shows that students’
mean score for Post-Test in blue chart was higher than students’ result for Pre- Test in red chart. It proves that Memrise Application was a good application to improve students listening skill.

The percentage of students who completed the pre-tets was most common in Fair score with 13 students (52%). Meanwhile on post-test, one students had a very good score (4%), 12 students received a Good score (48%) and 12 students received a Fair score (48%). As a result, it may be concluded that the percentage increased from the pre-test and post-test.
2. T-Test Value
After getting the data, the researcher analyzed the data by using t-test. The t-test value was 10.604 and it was higher than the t-table value 1.710. It was revealed that using the Memrise Application improved students’ listening skills of 8th grade SMP Negeri 3 Bungoro.

Table 8 T-Test Value
The table above shows that the t-test value (10.604) was higher than t- table value (1.710). it shows that Memrise Application greatly improves students’
listening skill.

3. Hypothesis testing
The significant level (α) = 5% and df = 24, and the t-table value is 1.710 because the t-test has a value 10.604, it can be concluded that t-test is higher than t-table (10,604 > 1,710) it means that after receiving treatment, the students’
listening skills improved. As a result, the null hypothesis (H0) is denied while the alternative hypothesis (Hi) is accepted. It was discovered that students’ listening skills improved when they used Memrise Application.
