4.3 Implikasi Manajerial

Pada hasil penelitian persamaan likuiditas di atas dengan menggunakan Amihud Illiquidity (2002), variabel GSV perusahaan secara parsial signifikan pada 2 kasus perusahaan yaitu, perusahaan Jasa Marga dan Media Nusantara Citra. Sedangkan variabel GSV indeks saham secara parsial signifikan pada 11 perusahaan yaitu, Bank Mandiri, Bumi Serpong Damai, Vale Indonesia, Jasa Marga, Lippo Karawaci, Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam, Pakuwon Jati, Summarecon Agung, Sri Rejeki Isman dan Telekomunikasi Indonesia.

Selain itu pada persamaan likuiditas ini secara simultan berpengaruh pada 26 kasus yaitu pada perusahaan Astra Agro Lestari, Astra Internasional, Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Tabungan Negara, Bank Mandiri, Global Mediacom, Bumi Serpong Damai, Elnusa, Gudang Garam, Indofood CBP

Tunggal Prakarsa, Jasa Marga, Lippo Karawaci, Media Nusantara Citra, Matahari Putra Prima, Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam, PP (Persero), Pakuwon Jati, Semen Indonesia, Summarecon Agung, Sri Rejeki Isman, Telekomunikasi Indonesia dan Wijaya Karya. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan variabel GSV sebagai proksi dari investor attention berpengaruh terhadap likuiditas.

Pada hasil dari adjusted R squared yang dihasilkan dari masing-masing kasus perusahaan LQ-45 nilai yang paling tinggi adalah nilai adjusted R squared dari perusahaan Vale Indonesia sebesar 49,44%. Sedangkan nilai adjusted R squared terendah ada pada perusahaan Aneka Tambang sebesar - 3,68. Pada model persamaan likuiditas terdapat beberapa perusahaan yang menghasilkan nilai adjusted R squared yang negatif untuk menggambarkan pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependennya. Diantaranya adalah perusahaan Adhi Karya, Aneka Tambang, Alam Sutera Realty, Bank Central Asia, Charoen Pokphand dan Sawit Sumbermas Sarana. Hal ini diduga karena data perusahaan dari keenam perusahaan tersebut menghasilkan koefisien yang negatif. Sehingga adjusted R squared yang dihasilkan negatif.

Pada hasil penelitian persamaan volatilitas dengan menggunakan standar deviasi pengembalian saham, variabel GSV perusahaan secara parsial signifikan pada 2 kasus perusahaan yaitu, Adhi Karya dan Tambang Batubara

signifikan pada 4 perusahaan yaitu, Aneka Tambang, Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, Media Nusantara Citra dan Telekomunikasi Indonesia.

Selain itu pada persamaan volatilitas ini secara simultan berpengaruh pada pada 18 perusahaan yaitu, Astra Agro Lestari, Alam Sutera Realty, Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, Global Mediacom, Bumi Serpong Damai, Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, Elnusa, Gudang Garam, Vale Indonesia, Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa, Lippo Karawaci, Media Nusantara Citra, Matahari Putra Prima, Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam, Sri Rejeki Isman, Telekomunikasi Indonesia dan Wijaya Karya.

Sehingga dapat disimpulkan variabel GSV sebagai proksi dari investor attention berpengaruh terhadap volatilitas.

Pada hasil dari adjusted R squared yang dihasilkan dari masing-masing kasus perusahaan LQ-45 nilai yang paling tinggi adalah nilai adjusted R squared dari perusahaan Bumi Serpong Damai sebesar 11,04%. Sedangkan nilai adjusted R squared terendah ada pada perusahaan sebesar -4,03%.

Dalam persamaan ini terdapat beberapa perusahaan yang nilai adjusted R squared menghasilkan output yang negatif yaitu, Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, Jasa Marga, Matahari Putra Prima, PP (Persero). Hal ini diduga karena data perusahaan dari keempat perusahaan tersebut menghasilkan koefisien yang negatif. Sehingga adjusted R squared yang dihasilkan negatif.

Pada umumnya dalam penelitian ini, model persamaan volatilitas menghasilkan pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependennya.

Sementara sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel atau variansi lain.

Pada hasil uji hubungan kausalitas Granger investor attention dan proksi likuiditas, didapat hasil bahwa investor attention menyebabkan likuiditas.

Selain itu hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa hubungan itu tidak terbukti untuk sebaliknya. Sehingga dengan hasil tersebut dapat diperkuat bahwa investor attention dengan volume pencarian yang tinggi pada Google akan menyebabkan likuiditas pasar. Sehingga hipotesis kedua dapat didukung dengan hasil penelitian uji Granger ini.

Pada hasil uji hubungan kausalitas Granger investor attention dan proksi volatilitas, didapat hasil bahwa investor attention menyebabkan volatilitas.

Selain itu hasil juga membuktikan bahwa hubungan tersebut tidak berlaku untuk sebaliknya. Sehingga dengan hasil tersebut dapat diperkuat bahwa investor attention dengan volume pencarian yang tinggi pada Google akan menyebabkan volatilitas pasar. Sehingga hipotesis kedua dapat didukung dengan hasil penelitian uji Granger ini.

Dari seluruh hasil uji hipotesis, dapat ditarik implikasinya bahwa variabel independen yang diproksikan dengan Google Search Volume (GSV) berpengaruh terhadap likuiditas dan volatilitas pasar saham. Hasil ini disertai

attention menyebabkan volatilitas dan tidak berlaku sebaliknya. Sehingga dapat ditarik solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah, semakin perusahaan menyediakan informasi yang memancing sinyal bagi investor, maka investor yang memperhatikan informasi yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan tersebut akan melakukan tindakan dalam pasar saham sehingga menyebabkan pengaruh terhadap aktivitas pasar saham atau secara spesifik akan mempengaruhi likuiditas dan volatilitas pasar saham.

5.1 Kesimpulan

Dari hasil penelitian pada bab sebelumnya, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa:

a. Aktivitas pasar saham memiliki korelasi dengan investor attention dengan menggunakan pengukuran volume perdagangan dari perusahaan LQ-45 dan Google Search Volume (GSV).

b. Investor attention dengan menggunakan Google Search Volume (GSV) sebagai proksinya mempunyai perngaruh terhadap likuiditas pasar yang diproksikan dengan Amihud Illiquidity (2002).

c. Investor attention dengan menggunakan Google Search Volume (GSV) sebagai proksinya mempunyai perngaruh terhadap volatilitas pasar yang diproksikan dengan standar deviasi pengembalian saham.

d. Investor attention dengan menggunakan Google Search Volume (GSV) sebagai proksinya terbukti menyebabkan likuiditas. Sedangkan likuiditas tidak terbukti menyebabkan investor attention.

5.2 Saran

a. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, pada penelitian ini periode penelitian masih tergolong sangat sedikit yaitu, mulai Januari 2015 hingga Juni 2017. Sehingga variansi data dalam penelitian ini masih kurang menggambarkan dengan jelas dan kurang lengkap. Maka akan lebih terlihat lebih jelas lagi bagaimana pengaruh investor attention terhadap likuiditas dan volatilitas pasar saham.

b. Sampel penelitian merupakan perusahaan yang terdaftar pada indeks saham LQ-45 per Agustus 2016. Disarankan untuk penelitian selanjutnya memakai objek yang sama dengan periode terbaru sehingga dapat menggambarkan keadaan pada saat ini. Atau disarankan pula dengan memakai objek dari indeks saham lain yang ada di Indonesia seperti Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), Kompas 100 dan lainnya.

c. Pada proksi Google Search Volume dalam penelitian ini hanya menggunakan nama perusahaan. Untuk itu disarankan untuk penelitian selanjutnya untuk menguji investor attention di Indonesia dengan kode saham perusahaannya. Sehingga dapat diketahui apakah investor di Indonesia lebih tertarik mencari informasi saham perusahaan dengan kode sahamnya atau dengan nama perusahaan tersebut.

d. Model yang digunakan sebagai pengujian hipotesis masih belum sempurna untuk membuktikan hipotesis. Hal ini terbukti dari nilai

likuiditas dan volatilitas dalam penelitian ini yang rendah. Untuk itu disarankan pada penelitian selanjutnya untuk memakai persamaan atau model lain yang dengan variabel independen lainnya sehingga akan didapat hasil yang akurat.

5.3 Keterbatasan Penelitian

a. Penelitian ini hanya mencakup pada perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam indeks LQ-45. Sehingga penelitian ini hanya menggambarkan situasi pada perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam LQ-45 per Agustus 2016.

b. Periode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan tiga tahun yaitu, 2015- 2017 dan dengan data mingguan dengan jumlah 127 minggu. Sehingga kurang tergambar dengan jelas pengaruhnya.

c. Hasil Adjusted R Square dari masing-masing perusahaan di kedua persamaan dalam penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai yang relatif rendah.

Untuk itu model persamaan penelitian ini kurang mampu untuk menggambarkan pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependennya.

d. Didukung dari pernyataan Riga (2016) karena jumlah investor individu di Indonesia masih terbilang sedikit dari pada investor negara maju pada penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya, maka keakuratan hasil akan
