Occupational Health and Safety [POJK.51- F.21]

The Company is fully responsible for ensuring the implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) for all employees. This is realized in the following various initiatives:

Health

The Company has carried out various initiatives related to health, consisting of:

1. Organize regular blood donation activities for employees;

2. Sport activities involving employees, either through the community or independently;

3. Enrollment to BPJS for the Companys’s employees; as well as

4. Provision of a first aid kit for accidents in the office environment.

Occupational Safety

The Company has also carried out various initiatives related to occupational safety including:

1. Provided occupational safety facilities and infrastructure, such as light fire extinguishers and hydrants, as well as clear evacuation instructions in the Company’s work environment;

2. Carried out routine maintenance and inspections of work supporting equipment, such as computers, work desks and chairs, air conditioners, photocopiers, printers, etc. The Company also ensured no electrical short circuits that could cause a fire;

3. Provided special personal protective equipment for each employee working in the field, such as helmets, gloves, boots, and masks; and

4. Conducted dissemination and decisive actions in cultivating compliance with laws and regulations on occupational safety.

Impact of Activities

The impact of implementing OHS activities, is that there were no fatal work accidents in the Company’s work environment throughout 2023. In addition, through the implementation of OHS activities, the Company has created a safe and comfortable working environment for all employees. This also has a positive impact on work productivity and the Company’s overall performance.

Penanganan Pengaduan Masalah Ketenagakerjaan Perseroan menyediakan sarana pengaduan terkait ketenagakerjaan yang dapat disampaikan kepada bagian SDM. Seluruh pengaduan yang diterima akan diproses dan ditindaklanjuti dengan baik dan profesional, sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku.

Dampak Operasi terhadap Masyarakat dan Gerakan Sosial 100% Untuk Indonesia [POJK.51-F.23, F.25]

Di tahun 2023, Perseroan meluncurkan gerakan 100%

Untuk Indonesia yang bertujuan menebarkan semangat untuk memaksimalkan 100% potensi yang dimiliki dan memberikan karya terbaik di Indonesia. Salah satu inisiatif strategis untuk mendukung gerakan sosial 100% Untuk Indonesia ini dalam kaitannya dengan tanggung jawab sosial Perseroan adalah program Teman Pintar Indonesia, Teman Kreasi Indonesia, Bunda Pintar, dan Teman UMKM Indonesia. Inisiatif-inisiatif tersebut dapat diuraikan sebagai berikut:

Handling of Employment Grievances

The Company provides facility for grievances related to employment issued which can be submitted to HR division.

Complaints and grievances received will be processed and followed up properly and professionally, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Use of Local Workforce

As a form of support for local community empowerment, the Company prioritizes employment for local communities.

This aims to improve the welfare of the surrounding community.

Operations Impact to Communicties and 100% Untuk Indonesia Social Movement [POJK.51-F.23, F.25]

In 2023, the Company launched the 100% Untuk Indonesia movement which aims to spread the spirit to maximize 100% of its potential and provide the best work in Indonesia. One of the strategic initiatives to support this 100% Untuk Indonesia social movement in relation to the Company’s social responsibility are Teman Pintar Indonesia, Teman Kreasi Indonesia, Bunda Pintar, and Teman UMKM Indonesia programs. These initiatives can be described as follows:

Teman Pintar difokuskan sebagai program edukasi literasi digital dan internet positif kepada generasi-generasi muda di sekolah dan perguruan tinggi untuk mewujudkan generasi Cakap Digital sesuai target pemerintah. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan antara lain workshop Literasi Digital, Akademi Konten Kreator dan edukasi eSports.

Di tahun 2023, program Teman Pintar telah melakukan 288 kegiatan ke sekolah-sekolah dan kampus, dan telah melahirkan 182 STAR atau juara konten kreator.

Teman Pintar is focused as a digital literacy and positive internet education program for young generations in schools and universities to create a Digital Capable generation as targeted by the government. The activities include Digital Literacy workshops, Content Creator Academy and eSports education. In 2023, the Teman Pintar program has conducted 288 activities to schools and campuses, and has produced 182 STARs or content creator champions.

Teman Kreasi adalah upaya pelestarian budaya lokal dengan memberdayakan konten kreator lokal yang disebut Key Opinion Customer (KOC). KOC membuat konten budaya lokal seperti tempat wisata, kuliner, fashion, kriya dan seni budaya di daerah masing-masing, yang kemudian diunggah di media sosial berkolaborasi dengan media sosial Teman Pintar Indonesia. Saat ini ada 109 KOC dari 15 kabupaten/kota yang tergabung dalam Teman Kreasi.

Teman Kreasi is an effort to preserve local culture by empowering local content creators called Key Opinion Customers (KOC). KOC creates local cultural content such as tourist attractions, culinary, fashion, crafts and cultural arts in their respective regions, which are then uploaded on social media in collaboration with Teman Pintar Indonesia’s social media. Currently, there are 109 KOCs from 15 districts/cities who are members of Teman Kreasi.

Inisiatif Bunda Pintar pada tahun 2023 difokuskan pada upaya pelestarian lingkungan dan edukasi kebersihan.

Salah satu aktivitas yang berjalan adalah edukasi terhadap bank sampah di Tangerang Selatan, Subang, Lampung Selatan, serta pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah di Klaten propinsi Jawa Tengah. Di tahun 2023, terdapat 58 kegiatan Bunda Pintar di 34 kota/kabupaten di Indonesia.

The Bunda Pintar initiative in 2023 is focused on environmental conservation efforts and hygiene education.

One of the ongoing activities is the education of waste banks in South Tangerang, Subang, South Lampung, and the utilization of used cooking oil waste in Klaten, Central Java province. In 2023, there were 58 Bunda Pintar activities in 34 cities/districts in Indonesia.

Teman UMKM merupakan program pemberdayaan terhadap UMKM binaan Smartfren Community yang dijalankan secara konsisten dan berkelanjutan.

Aktivitas yang rutin berjalan antara lain pelatihan dan pendampingan UMKM goes digital, business coaching, bantuan desain packaging, dan sebagainya. Di tahun 2023, Teman UMKM melakukan 68 kegiatan pembinaan, dan hingga saat ini sudah 2455 UMKM terdaftar sebagai binaan Teman UMKM, dari 41 kota di seluruh Indonesia.

Teman UMKM is an empowerment program for Smartfren Community-assisted MSMEs that is run consistently and sustainably. Regular activities include training and mentoring for MSMEs to go digital, business coaching, packaging design assistance, and so on. In 2023, Teman UMKM carried out 68 coaching activities, and to date, 2455 MSMEs have been registered as fostered by Teman UMKM, from 41 cities throughout Indonesia.
