810 PDR guide to terrorism response:
A resource for physicians, nurses, emergency medical ser vices, law enforcement, firefighters. John G.
Bartlett and Michael I. Greenberg. 341p.
Thomson, 2005. ISBN 156363550X. $ RA645.5
This new source from Thomson PDR needs to be in the reference collection of libraries of all sizes and, hopefully, read before a disaster occurs.
Covers terrorism incident management, signs and symptoms, terrorism agents in brief, and biologi- cal and chemical agents. Medical management in
explosive, incendiary, and nuclear attacks are also included. Drugs for terrorism response, such as treating anthrax, cholera, or cyanide, are listed.
Personally, this is one reference source that I hope gathers dust. However, wide dissemination of this information may save lives.
