What is the Kumamoto University’s Summer Program in English?
The Summer Program offered by the College of Cross-Cultural and Multidisciplinary Studies at Kumamoto University was created to allow international students who have an interest in Japan, but limited Japanese language ability, to experience Japanese life and culture in Kumamoto.

Payment of fees and awarding of scholarship will take place during orientation in Kumamoto.
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have a GPA greater than or equal to 2.3, and must not receive any other scholarships for this program which exceed 80,000 Japanese Yen.
Considerations for Muslim prayer time and meals have been made within the contents of the program.
