LO 3 : Assess the system of epidemiology and surveillance in controlling, preventing strategic, bio-products, bio-safety, bio- security and bio-materials from animals causing zoonotic diseases to eliminate them.

7. Achievement of Course Learning After following the course of Animal Feed Technology, 7th semester students of FVM UNAIR can formulate and implement Veterinary Epidemiology techniques in the Public Health and Animal Health Management program..

8. Course Description Course material given to students in the Lecture material is given face-to-face and training assignments on the Basic Concepts of Epidemiology, Sampling Methods, Epidemiological Measurement Systems, Descriptive Epidemiology, Causes of Disease, Survey & Analytical Epidemiology, Field Trial Design, Systems Analysis & Theory of Modeling Epidemiology, Veterinary Economics in in the field of Animal Health, Disease Control and Risk Analysis. At the end of the lecture, mastery of the material was evaluated by multiple choice exams and descriptions.

1. OBJECTIVES OF ASSIGNMENT :

Decant and interpret the principles of veterinary epidemiology on various animal diseases as a basis for understanding the process of controlling animal diseases properly and correctly, and presenting opinions academically.

2. DESCRIPTION OF ASSIGNMENT : a. Object of Assignment :

Theory / study of the principles of veterinary epidemiology on various animal diseases as a basis for understanding the proces s of controlling animal diseases properly and correctly

b. Object Boundary :

 The minimum theory comes from several references in the form of text books or journals, all of which must be published (the source of information must be clear).

 The arable object is divided into 7 topics for 7 groups with the following description :

c. Methods of Assignment :

Individual TASK : Week 1 – 12  Summarize each lecture topic before the topic is given. Sources that can be used as ingredients are summarized.

Group TASK : Week 14  One class is divided into several groups with each group having a minimum of 10 people. Sources that can be used as reference material are from nationally accredited journals or internationally indexed journals for at least 5 journals.

d. Output of Assignment :

On individual assignments  Output in the form of a summary of the material provided.

On group assignments  Output in the form of presentation of papers and collection of papers produced.

3. ASSESSMENT CRITERIA :

Individual Task Assessment (Task Summarizing) - Score scale : 70 – 100
