A DAY IN MY LIFE AS A PHARMACY STUDENT

Hi everyone! Welcome to A Day in My Life as a Pharmacy Student.

I’m a second-semester pharmacy student at Muhammadiyah University of Palopo, and today I’m going to take you through a typical day in my life.

I usually wake up around 6 a.m. After getting up, I do a little stretching to wake myself up, then get ready for class.

My breakfast is usually something simple — just some bread and a glass of water. After that, I check my class schedule and review a few notes before heading out.

The first class of the day is Solid Dosage Form Technology.

In this course, we learn how to formulate different types of solid drug preparations, especially tablets. It’s both exciting and challenging because it requires accuracy and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical

ingredients.

After the lecture, it’s time for lab practice.

Today, we’re doing a precipitation titration experiment.

As always, we wear our lab coats and gloves for safety. Before the lab session begins, we usually complete a pre-test to assess our understanding of the experiment we’re about to do.

I really enjoy practical sessions because they give us hands-on experience and help connect the theory with real applications.

Once the lab is done, it’s lunch time!

I usually eat at the campus cafeteria with my friends. It’s a great time to relax, chat, and recharge before continuing with afternoon activities.

In the afternoon, I often study at the library or join a group discussion to work on case studies.

Pharmacy isn’t just about memorizing drug names — we also need to think critically, solve problems, and apply what we’ve learned in real-life

scenarios.

After heading home, I take a short break to rest.

Then I usually spend time doing assignments or reviewing material for the next class.

Sometimes, I scroll through social media or watch YouTube to relax a bit after a full day.

And that’s pretty much my day!

Being a pharmacy student can be exhausting, but it’s also incredibly fulfilling. Every day I learn something new, and I know all of this will

prepare me for a future career where I can help people live healthier lives.

Thanks so much for spending the day with me.

If you’re interested in pharmacy or considering studying it, I hope this video gave you a little insight into what it’s like.

See you in the next one — and don’t forget to take care of your health!
