The writing of this dissertation begins from the preliminary study of microteacing at the higer education and teacher training in West Sumatera Province.
Microteaching learning is faced with a variety of technical and practical problems.
The preliminary field study concluded that the applying of microteaching learning model has not been able to overcome the limited laboratory facilities, limited the number of classrooms, time management, and the low of student basic skills problems in teaching. This study purpose to develop a microteaching learning model that is able to overcome the problem of learning faced, by optimizing the utilization of communication and information technology (ICT) infrastructure. Research and Development design, using Borg and Gall model with stages; Preliminary study, development, field testing, and desemination. In Construction of the model refers to Bruce Joice & Marsha Weil model with elements; Syntax, social systems, principles of reaction, support systems and effect of the model. Research object was Educational and Teacher Training in West Sumatera province. The data were collected through questionnaires, validation sheets, and interviews. The quantitative data was analiyis using SPSS 20 and qualitative data using the techniques that suggested by Miles and Huberman, they are reduction, data display, and data verification. The final model of microteaching was named TADALURING Microteaching Learning Model (TMLM). The TADALURING model consists of three forms of integrated teaching practice; Classroom practice, online practice, and offline practice by using Lap Top, Skype, Mobile Phone, Camtasia Studio, and WhatApp as media. The result of field testting concluded that the TADALURING Model was valid, practical, and effectively used if the ICT facilities was adequate available.

Penulisan disertasi ini berawal dari hasil studi pendahuluan tentang pembelajaran microteacing pada perguruan tinggi keguruan di wilayah Propinsi Sumatera Barat. Pembelajaran microteaching dihadapkan kepada berbagai persoalan teknis dan praktis. Hasil studi pendahuluan menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran microteaching belum mampu mengatasi masalah keterbatasan sarana prasarana laboratorium, jumlah ruangan, manajemen waktu, dan rendahnya penguasaan keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa calon guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran microteaching yang mampu mengatasi persoalan pembelajaran yang dihadapi, dengan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan sarana prasarana tekonologi komunikasi dan informasi (ICT). Desain penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), menggunakan model Borg and Gall dengan tahapan penelitian; studi pendahuluan, pengembangan, uji lapangan, dan deseminasi. Konstruksi model yang dikembangkan mengacu pada model Bruce Joice & Marsha Weil dengan unsur; sintak, sistem sosial, prinsip- prinsip reaksi, sistem pendukung dan pengaruh model. Objek penelitian perguruan tinggi keguruan di propinsi Sumatera Barat. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, lembar validasi, dan wawancara. Kemuadian Data kuantitatif dioleh menggunakan software SPSS 20 dan data kualitatif menggunakan teknik analisa data yang disarankan oleh Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Model final pembelajuaran microteaching dinamai TADALURING Microteaching Learning Model (TMLM). Model TADALURING terdiri dari tiga rangkainan latihan mengajar secara terintegrasi; classroom practice, online practice, dan offline practice dengan bermediakan Lap Top, Skype, Hand Phone, Camtasia Studio, dan WhatApp. Hasil uji lapangan menyimpulkan bahwa Model pembelajaran microteaching TADALURING valid, efektif, dan praktis digunakan untuk penguasan berbagai keterampilan dasar mengajar apabila ketersediaan sarana prasarana ICT memadai.
