Soulful Sit-downs with a Side of Ice Cream
Soulful Sit-downs are meaningful student-run conversations centered on topics ranging from authenticity and mindfulness, to love and fear.
This is NOT group therapy or a formal lecture! The purpose is to facilitate in depth, nonjudgmental connections with peers while exploring different topics.
Next week we are forgoing the healthy snacks typically provided and having ice cream instead! Come
indulge in thought provoking conversation and enjoy a scoop (or two) of ice cream while you do it!
WHEN: Mondays 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
WHERE: Herrick Library Seminar Room 106
Questions? Contact facilitators Summer and Savannah Markajani at [email protected].

Calling All Engineers
Want an inside view into world-class manufacturing? How humans and robots can work together? How lean manufacturing/lean engineering works?
We have a unique opportunity to go "behind the scenes" and see BMW, Mercedes and other German industries. Plus, absorb German culture and go to a German university and compete with German students in a manufacturing simulation.
All this and more will take place Allen Term 2018. If you are interested, come to an information session at 4:45 p.m., Tuesday, September 12 in Olin 310.
