The purpose of this research is to show that using Community Language Learning (CLL) method can increase students' speaking performance and students' learning activities in the seventh grade of MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari in the academic year 2016/2017. In summary, it can be said that using the Community Language Learning (CLL) method can increase students' speaking performance in the seventh grade of MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari. This research was carried out at MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari in class VII A consisting of 26 students.

In this research, the writer will try to apply Community Language Learning to improve the speaking skills of the students. The research will focus on the seventh grade students of MTs Al-hikmah Batanghari who are experiencing difficulties in improving their speaking skills. Can the Community Language Learning (CLL) method improve the speaking skills of the students of the seventh graders of MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari?

Can the community language learning (CLL) method enhance the learning activities of students in the seventh grade of MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari. To show that the use of community language learning (CLL) method can increase the speaking performance of students in the seventh grade of MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari.

Documentation is a technique used to obtain information from written sources or documents such as books, magazines, regulations, meeting notes and daily reports. The writer will use a documentation to obtain data on the history of the school, the condition of teachers, officially employed students and learning facilities at MTs Al-hikmah Batanghari. It means that through the Community Language Learning (CLL) method in English, learning successfully improves the speaking skills and learning activities of the seventh graders of MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari. The classroom action research material was the use of the Community Language Learning (CLL) method to improve the speaking skills of the students.

At this meeting to measure the students' Speaking Performance after using Community Language Learning (CLL), the researcher tested the students by oral test. In this session, the researcher got the results of the students' post-test 1 in cycle 1. The result of learning process to increase the students' speaking performance by using Community Language Learning (CLL) method in cycle 1 increased than before.

From the result of cycle 1, it showed that there was an increase in the result of pre-test and post-test 1. The students were interested enough in the learning process, although the condition of the learning process. still uncontrolled. It can be seen that most of the students have no difficulty in speaking. This means that the Community Language Learning (CLL) method is an effective method for increasing students' speaking performance.

There was an increasing score of the students' pretest, posttest 1 and posttest 2 in cycle I and cycle II. Therefore, this research was declared finished and could be stopped in cycle 2, because the results of the students. As a result, by implementing the Community Language Learning (CLL) method, students' speaking performance in the seventh grade of MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari could be increased.

Consequently, Community Language Learning (CLL) method can increase the students' activities in the teaching learning process at the seventh grade of MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari. It is suggested to the teacher to use Community Language Learning (CLL) as the teaching-learning method because it can increase the students' speaking performance.

After observing the subject's activities, the writer will conduct a pre-test to determine the level of students' speaking performance before starting the treatment.

In this classroom action research, there are four steps in each cycle that are related to each other. 3 McNiff, Jean and Jack Whitehead, Action Research: Principles and Practice Second Edition, (London and New York: Routledge Falmer, 2002) p.41-42. In this phase, the writer will apply the planning of strategy and scenario learning as follows.

In this observation, the collaborator observes the student's activity in the teaching-learning process and records it using notes. So in this research the researcher becomes a teacher and the English teacher becomes a collaborator/observer. In this phase, the author and collaborator examined all actions that happened in the learning process.

The reflection would be stopped when the indicator of success is reached. a) Cycle II 1) Planning . A). In this phase, the writer applies the planning of strategy and screenplay as follows; a) Explain daily activity talks to the students. In this observation, the staff member observes the student's activity in teaching the learning process and records it using notes.

So, in this research, the researcher becomes the teacher and the English teacher becomes the collaborator/observer. In this stage, the writer will compare the pre-test and post-test result. If the success indicator is reached, then the activity can be terminated in this cycle and not continued in the next cycle.

Data Collecting Technique

It is done to know the level of speaking ability of the student after using the CLL method in learning the speaking subject. The writer also wants to know if there is an increase in speaking ability by comparing the pre-test and post-test grade.

Data Analysis Technique

In addition, the writer will compare the mean score between pretest and posttest for each cycle to know the result.

The researcher told the students that the researcher would do the research in their class to know their ability to speak before doing the action of the classroom action research. The teacher opened the lesson by greeting, checking the attendance list and motivating the students. In this meeting, the researcher was the teacher and the collaborator was the observer.

The meeting began with prayer and greetings, checking the attendance list and asking the students about the situation. The use of the CLL method in the teaching process is something new in this class, because the students are supposed to be active, not only in pairs of each student, each of them is also expected to be active in this case, the first meeting of many of them it is still difficult to express. Based on the above analysis, the researcher concludes that this research should continue in cycle 2.

In the 1st cycle, there are still many weaknesses in which students do not trust. At this stage, students are more determined and enthusiastic in following the learning process. This happened because the teacher and the researcher revised and increased the teaching and learning process in the 1st cycle.

Interpretation

From the increase of each cycle, it can be seen that the use of community language learning method can increase students' speaking ability, because students who can speak in front of the class can increase their speaking ability. This means that students could reach the target, the goal is for 70% of students to achieve a score of 65. There was an increase in the number of students who achieved the standard score from pre-test to post-test 1 and from post-test. test 1 to post-test 2.

Based on the explanation above, the researcher concluded that the research was successful because the students' outcome score had achieved the indicator of success which was 70%, with the minimum criteria of mastery being 65. Based on the above data, it can be inferred that the students felt comfortable and active spoke an appropriate word. Most of the students showed good increase in learning activities when CLL was applied in the learning process from cycle 1 to cycle 2.

Based on the graphic above, it could be concluded that there was an increase in students' activities during the learning process in cycle 1 and cycle 2 through Community Language Learning. This means that more than 70% of the students were successful and that the indicator for the research could be reached. The percentage of students' activities in the tenth grade of MTs Al-Hikmah Batanghari in cycle I was 61.53% and there was an increase in cycle II, it was 73.07%.

The teachers should use CLL creatively in teaching, especially in the speaking class, to engage the students in the learning process. Create a dialogue about your hobby and practice it in front of the class with your friend. Create a dialogue about your idol and practice it in front of the class with your friend.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

Suggestion

It is suggested to the English teacher to include Community Language Learning (CLL) in the teaching process. It is suggested to other researchers who want to develop this study to include another skill in English learning, such as speaking, listening or writing, and to include different subjects and also different texts.
