AU�s Williamson named to Empire Eight all-conference team 11/07/00
Alfred University senior Andrea Williamson (Walworth/Gananda) has been named a second-team Empire Eight All- conference selection.Williamson has helped the Lady Saxons (26-14) to an appearance in this weekend's ECAC tournament and a fifth place finish in last weekend's state tournament. She is one of the leading hitters in the Empire Eight, with a .354 hitting percentage, 442 kills, 520 digs and 131 blocks entering the ECAC playoffs. Williamson is currently Alfred's career leader in kills (1,605), total blocks (691), solo blocks (411) and holds the single-season record for kills (482) and digs (520).
