That the action of the International Board of Officers of District K in revoking the charters listed in Exhibit C attached to the report, be approved. That the January dates be approved for the meeting of the District K International Board of Officers for its Mid-Winter Board Meeting. To approve the amendments to the Constitution and by-laws of the European Federation as contained in Exhibit A, attached to this report.

That the charters of the forty-one clubs mentioned in the committee's report be revoked. Badskey met with the board on Tuesday, October 7, and presented the Past Presidents Committee report. It is a pleasure to welcome you all to this first meeting of the Kiwanis International Board of Directors from 1975-1976.

BOARD Thanks to the work of the Board's Leadership and Board Committee, this should be another outstanding event. As President-elect, I consider myself most fortunate to serve with all the members of the 1975-76 Kiwanis International Board of Trustees.

REPORT FROM THE COMMISSION BOARD ON ADMINISTRATION AND STRUCTURE TO THE MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF TRUSTEES. Representation on the boards of territories outside the United States, Canada and the EuroEan Federation. Another ongoing subject of study is representation in the governance of territories outside the United States, Canada and the European Federation.

The committee commends the Circle K organization and the individuals responsible for the depth and sincerity of the decisions. After careful consideration, the committee agrees with the intent of the resolution on church-oriented prayers and makes the following recommendation:. It is recommended that the action of the Circle K International Board of Officers revoking charters as listed in Appendix C be approved.

The committee reviewed the selection of the Radisson Muehlebach Hotel, Kansas City, Missouri, as the site for the 1977 Circle K International Convention. The committee recommends that the dates of January 2-4, 1976 be approved for the meeting of the Circle K International Board of Officers for its mid-winter Board meeting.

REPORT OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ON OVERSEAS EXTENSIONS MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES. The Committee again recommends the approval of two basic Keywanettes club materials to be mailed at the request of individual Kiwanis clubs. Committee members received a copy of The President's Project Guide, which was just sent to all Kiwanis club presidents.

After discussion, the committee agreed to continue the role Kiwanis played in promoting the Seminar from a Program Development perspective. It is sponsored by a local Kiwanis club composed of leading business and professional men of the community. The chairman of the local Kiwanis Club Sponsor Committee on Keywanettes Club is responsible to his Kiwanis Club to maintain proper liaison with the sponsored club and the faculty advisor.

The Keywanettes' sponsorship activity is part of Kiwanis' purpose of providing service to its community. Once these four actors are positively determined, it is the responsibility of the sponsoring Kiwanis club president to select the president and committee members for the Keywanettes. Those who express a desire to become members and subscribe to the provisions of the proposed standard form for the Keywanettes Club Bylaws become charter members of the club.

Receive reports from the Keywanettes Committee on club activities and publicize these activities among Kiwanis members and, periodically, in the Kiwanis club bulletin. Invite the faculty advisor to attend a Kiwanis meeting and present that person with a tangible token of the Kiwanis Club's appreciation. Understand the Keywanettes Club program and get to know the activities of the sponsored Keywanettes Club.

Meet regularly with the faculty advisor and invite the faculty advisor to attend Kiwanis Club meetings and Keywanettes Committee meetings. Organize an annual recognition of retiring Keywanette Club officers and the installation of new officers, in cooperation with the faculty advisor. To become familiar with Kiwanis and the activities of the sponsoring Kiwanis club in order to relate them to the activities of the Keywanettes wherever possible; to report monthly to the Chairman of Khmnis on the activities of the Keywanettes Club; and to attend, whenever possible, Kiwanis Club Keywanettes Committee meetings.

The director (or his representative) and the Kiwanis sponsoring committee will present plans for the new Keywanettes club to this group. Those girls who express a desire to become members and abide by the provisions of this policy may join the Keywanettes Club as charter members. The school administration appoints a faculty advisor who will be responsible for advising the officers and members of the Keywanettes in their activities and acting as a liaison to the sponsoring Kiwanis club.

This Keywanettes Club shall establish the necessary number and types of committees appropriate to its local situations and shall define their duties. The chairperson and members of each committee shall be appointed by the incoming Keywanettes Club President.

REPORT FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS' COMMITTEE ON PROPERTY AND PRESENTS TO THE MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS. The Board Committee expressed their delight that the refurbishment of the Board Room had been completed at this meeting and that it was well done. REPORT FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS' COMMITTEE ON PUBLICATIONS AND ADVERTISEMENTS TO THE MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

The presentation by the art and production department familiarized the committee with the technical aspects of producing THE KIWANIS MAGAZINE. REPORT FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS' COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC RELATIONS TO THE MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS. The treasurer's report is a review of Kiwanis International's current financial position.

The committee recommends that a write-off be made of advertising receivables totaling $2,684.05 listed above. The Committee would like to rescind Recommendation No. 4 of the Board Committee on Finance, which was adopted in February, 1975. The Chairman made this inquiry at the joint meeting of the Committee and the Board following the morning meeting~.

The committee advises the board to consider increasing the daily allowance of board members. The minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Kiwanis International Foundation. He also asked the board to note that the Popcorn for Profit division of the Kiwanis Club of Bremen, Indiana, had contributed.

The board has decided to increase the per diem for members of the Kiwanis Interriational Foundation board of directors to $35. Vice President Peterson asked the Board of Directors to refer to the proposed guidelines that had been established (SEE APPENDIX F)1 and he read aloud each of the seven points. He told the board that the project had the full approval of the school's board of directors and that approximately 50 students would participate.

He indicated that he had spoken with the man in charge of the project, Mr. Colin Leonard, before the Board meeting and that M.r. President Himmel called on the Administrator to report on the use of the new Kiwanis International Foundation.
