Sitzung am 6. Juli 1911
Die Extrasitzung wurde vom Präsidenten
Stempfel einberufen.
Anwesend waren Turner Stempfel, Rath,
Suder, Stecher, C Lieber, Scherer, F Vonnegut
+ Westing.
Der Vorsitzende begrüβte die auswertigen
Mitglieder, sowie den eben zurückkehrenden
Turner Franklin Vonnegut.
Der Sekretair verlaβ das Protokoll der
letzten Sitzung, welches angenommen
wurde.
Turnlehrer Rath berichtete, daβ 43 Teilne am Sommekursus erschienen wären.
Auf Empfehlung Rath wurde das Fräulein
Orr, welche während des Sommerkursus die
Arbeiten des Bibliothekars und Recorders
besorgt, das Recht eingeräumt, sich an den
Fächern des Seminarkursus unentgeltlich zu beteiligen.
Turnlehrer Rath berichtete über das Aufnahmegesuch
für das nachste Schuljahr, von Robert Nohr Jr
aus Cincinnati, welcher um Ermäβigung des
Schulgelds nachsucht. Auf Antrag Suders
wurde diese Angelegenheit bis auf Weiteres
zurückgelegt, mit soll dem Rat an Robert
Nohr, sich einem Turnverein in Cincinnati
anzuschlieβen, wenn mögich vor September.
Der Jahresbericht des Schatzmeisters wurde
vorgelegt, und erregte eine längere Besprechung.
Auf Antrag Stechers wurde beschlossen, den
Landesvorort zu ersuchen, das G Defizit für
das verflossene Sch Jahr, im Betrage von
etwa $500 00 zu decken.
Auf Antrag des Schatzmeisters wurde beschlossen,
denselben zu autorisieren, die alten
Garantie noten für die neuen Zehn Dollar
Gara Noten umzutauschen.
It was moved by Mr Stecher and seconded by
Mr. Vonnegut, that upon request a certificate
of attendance and a credit certificate based
upon examination be issued to students of
the summercourse held in 1911, and further,
that upon request a certificate of attendance
be issued to students attending the summer course
held in Madison in 1910. Motion carried.
Auf Antrag Stechers wurde beschlossen,
den Mitgliedern der Turnlehrerschaft und
der Alumni Association zu empfehlen,
unter Beobachtung der Bestimmungen des
Seminars eine Vereinigung anzustreben.

Meeting on July 6, 1911.
The president called the extra session to order.
Present: Turner Stempfel, Rath, Suder, Stecher, C. Lieber, Scherer, F. Vonnegut and Westing.
The chair welcomed the members from out of town and Turner Franklin Vonnegut who had just returned.
The secretary read last meeting’s minutes which were then approved.
Gymnastic teacher Rath reported that 43 participants showed up for the summer course. Upon
his recommendation, it was agreed to grant Ms. Orr who worked as library attendant and record keeper during the summer course, the right to attend the classes free of tuition.
Gymnastic teacher Rath reported about a request to register for the next school year received from Robert Nohr, Jr. from Cincinnati, who has applied for a reduced tuition. Upon Suder’s motion, this issue was tabled with the advice to Robert Nohr to join a gymnastic union in Cincinnati before September if possible.
The treasurer’s report was presented and it brought on a lengthy discussion. It was moved by Stecher to ask the National Executive Committee to cover past year’s deficit of ca. $500 00.
Motion granted.
Motion made by the treasurer to be authorized to exchange the old Guarantee bills for the new ten dollar bills. Motion granted.
Motion made by Mr. Stecher and seconded by Mr. Vonnegut, that upon request a certificate of attendance and a credit certificate based upon examination be issued to students of the summer course held in 1911, and further, that upon request a certificate of attendance be issued to students attending the summer course held in Madison in 1910. Motion carried.
Motion made by Stecher to recommend to the members of the gymnastic faculty and the Alumni Association to aim for unification in compliance with the Seminary’s policies. Motion granted.
