Das Protokoll der letzten regelmäβigen
Sitzung sowie der Extrasitzung wurde ver-
lesen und angenommen.
Seminardir Rektor Rath berichtete, daβ der
zweite Termin des Sommerkursus 42 Teilnehmer
aufweise.
Es wurde beschlossen, dem Bundesvorort zu
emfehlen, den Lehrern des Sommerkursus fol-
gende Saläre zu zahlen:
Dr. J. C. Morris, $100 00
W. A. Stacher, $175 00
Emil Rath, $200 00
Dr. Harriet I. Turner, $36 00
Fred I. Förtsch, $60 00
Walter J. Wittich, $75 00
Ferner dem Sozialen Turnverein $50 00 für
Miete.
Schreiben von Jennie Gahl und Irene
Wüstefeld, Cincinnati, worin diese beide
Applikantinnen um Aufnehmen in das Turn-
lehrerseminar den Verwaltungsrat ersuchen,
ihnen die bei Töchtern von Mitgliedern des
Turnerbundes übliche Ermäβigung des
Schulgeldes zu gewähren, lagen vor. Da in
dem einen Fall der Vater der Applikantin
erst seit sechs Monaten, im anderen Fall über-
haupt nicht Mitglied eines Bundesvereins
ist, wurde beschlossen, das Gesuch der beiden Damen
abschlägig zu beantworten mit der Begründung,
daβ der Verwaltungsrat auβer Stande sei, eine
Ausnahme von den bestehenden Regeln zu
machen.

The minutes from the last regular meeting as well as from the extra meeting were read and approved.
Seminary dir Dean Rath reported that there are 42 participants in the second session of the summer course.
It was decided to recommend to the National Executive Committee to pay the following salaries to the instructors of the summer course:
Dr. J. C. Morris, $100 00
W. A. Stacher, $175 00
Emil Rath, $200 00
Dr. Harriet I. Turner, $36 00
Fred I. Förtsch, $60 00
Walter J. Wittich, $75 00
In addition, $50 to the Sozialer Turnverein (Social Gymnastic Union) for rent.
Written communications from Jennie Gahl and Irene Wüstefeld, Cincinnati were brought to the attention of the Board. In them, both applicants to the Gymnastic Teachers Seminary ask the Board of Trustees to grant them the tuition reduction for daughters of members of the
Gymnastic Union. Since, in one case the father has been a member only for the past six months and in the other, the father is not a member of a national union, it was decided to decline the request on the grounds that the Board of Trustees is unable to make an exception from the existing rules.
At this point, the meeting was adjourned.
