Anwesend waren Franklin GVonnegut, Scherer,
Geo Vonnegut, Rath, C. Lieber, Steichmann
+ Westing. Das Protokoll der letzten Sitzung
wurde verlesen und angenommen.
Director Rath berichtete über die Notwendigkeit eines
neuen Fuβbodens im Turnsaal, gründliche Reinigung
desselben, ferner über die Zweckmäβigkeit der
Einrichtung des Gartens als Turnplatz und Spielplatz,
und machte die Empfehlung, in der südlich gelegenen
Wand des Turnsaals Fenster und eine Tür anbringen
zu lassen.
Rath wurde beauftragt, das Seminar bei den
Trustees des Sozialen Turnvereins zu vertreten
mit dem Verständniβ, die Veränderungen sofort nach
Schluβ des Schuljahrs und vor dem Anfang des Sommerkursus
machen zu lassen, und dem Verwaltungsrat einen
Bericht zu unterbreiten.
Eine Anfrage von Dr. Ziegler bezüglich Aufnahme
fertiger Studenten soll dahin beantwortet werden,
daβ wir nicht dazu eingerichtet sind, fertige Studenten
in das Seminar oder in den Sommerkursus aufzunehmen.
Die Abstimmung über die Ausstellung eines
Turnlehrerdiploms an H. C F Stahl in San Francisco,
und Adam Retlig, Grand Junction, Colo., ergab
das Resultat, daβ alle Trustees mit Ja stimmten.
Der Gesuch von Camman für Ausstellung
des Titels “G. G.” wurde vorläufig zurückgelegt, und
der Sekretair beauftragt, anzufragen, ob er
Sommerkurse besucht habe.
Es wurde beschlossen, an Dr. Reed $25 00 zu
bezahlen für den Essay im neuen Katalog.

Meeting on April 18, 1914.
Present: Franklin GVonnegut, Scherer, Geo Vonnegut, Rath, C. Lieber, Steichmann and Westing.
Last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
Dean Rath reported on the necessity of a new floor for the gym, a deep cleaning of the same and, in addition, he talked about why it would make a good sense to turn the garden into gymnastic exercises and play ground. He also recommended to have windows and one door installed in the south facing wall of the gym.
Rath was appointed to represent the Seminary by the Trustees of the Sozialer Turnverein (Social Gymnastic Union) with the understanding that any changes be made immediately after the end of the school year and before the begin of the summer course. He will also submit a report about it to the Board of Trustees.
An inquiry made by Dr. Ziegler regarding accepting graduated students should be answered to state that we are not able to accept graduates in the Seminary of summer courses.
The vote to issue gymnastic teacher diplomas to H. C. F. Stahl from San Francisco and Adam Retlig, Grand Junction, Colo. produced the result that all trustees votes ‘yes’.
The application received from Camman for the award of the “G. G.” title was temporarily tabled and the secretary was instructed to inquire whether he has attended summer courses.
It was decided to pay Dr. Reed $25 00 for his essay in the new catalog.
