This study applied a pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. treatments using hand puppet. Post-test scores were competed to determine the improvement of the people cared for, the post-test results for the average experimental class, the mean was 64 with a total score of 1550. and post-test design Penelitian ini terdiri dari pre-test and post test yang ditulis berdasarkan pengalaman siswa sebagai tes menulis dan alokasi waktu adalah 30 menit, then 2 waktu.

Skor postes dilombakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kepedulian masyarakat, rata-rata skor postes kelas eksperimen rata-rata 64 dengan total skor 1550.

Therefore, most of the students of MTs Hadil Ishlah Bilebanta face problems in understanding the meaning of words and misunderstanding and the lack of student's vocabulary, there are many spelling mistakes in pronunciation, the student's marital motivation and they are not interested in learning vocabulary. Because the atmosphere of the learning process is not happy, and they found that the students are very bad in English, especially in vocabulary. The researcher is interested in using a hand puppet to enrich and improve students' vocabulary.

Limitations of the study are time, energy and theory limitations, so this study. The results of the study are expected to bring theoretical and practical benefits as follows: The ability to develop the quality of the school by improving the results of students in learning English subjects.

A hand puppet is a type of puppet that is controlled by the hands that occupy the interior of the puppet.6.

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND

Theoretical Bases

A learner who recognizes the communicative power of vocabulary could reasonably aim to acquire a working knowledge of a large number of words.10 Vocabulary is all the words that a person knows or uses. The definition of vocabulary is clear enough, it is almost the case of human life, they use a set of words. Moreover, in the teaching of vocabulary, the teacher can introduce the list of vocabulary taken from the book.

The goal of teaching vocabulary is to make it easier for the teacher to design the material that the students will learn. When teaching vocabulary, the teacher must choose the words that students need to communicate. Acceptable vocabulary is a set of words that we recognize and understand, but do not use ourselves.

Productive vocabulary is the words that students are expected to use in speaking and writing.

Research Hypothesis

The researcher used the second procedure because it is easier to do and more fun than the other.

Siswa dan guru secara bersama-sama mendiskusikan contoh-contoh dalam buku teks tentang materi mengungkapkan memberi dan meminta informasi yang berkaitan dengan orang. Menanyakan materi berupa memberi dan meminta informasi yang berkaitan dengan orang dan siswa lain diberi kesempatan untuk menjawabnya. Siswa dan guru secara bersama-sama mendiskusikan contoh-contoh dalam buku teks mengenai konteks untuk menyampaikan informasi yang berkaitan dengan orang dalam bahasa Inggris.

Menanyakan hal-hal yang belum dipahami atau guru mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan kepada siswa terkait materi dalam rangka memberikan informasi terkait orang yang akan menyelesaikan pembelajaran. Siswa dan guru bersama-sama mendiskusikan contoh-contoh dalam buku ajar mengenai pemahaman materi teks deskripsi, struktur generik, ciri kebahasaan, contoh dan penggunaannya.

RESEARCH FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

Research findings

The data described in this section are the pre- and post-test results of students composing hand puppets. Based on the above data, the highest pre-test score that was obtained by the students of the first grade of MOH Hadil Ishalah Bilebante was 60 and the lowest score was 20. The total score in the pre-test was 960 and the average was 41. Based on the above data, the highest post-test score obtained by the first grade students of MOH Hadil Ishalah Bilebante was 80 and the lowest score was 50. The total post-test score was 1550 and the mean was 64 The total score was obtained using the formula = AVERAGE (data range ) Microsoft Excel is used.

Based on the above data, after conducting the pre-test and post-test on the first grade students of the Hadil Ishalah-Bilebante MOH with hand-used puppet, in this case, the test has filled the blank. Then the researcher tries to compare the pre-test and post-test result. The objective of the normality test is to find out whether the data samples are normally distributed or not.

Base the data above, the result of t-score in one pair experiment group pretest and posttest and posttest is 10.552 with degree of freedom (df). Moreover, the significance value (Sign 2-tailed) is less than 000<0.05 which means that the null hypothesis (Ho) there is no significant effect of using hand puppet to teach the student to learn descriptive texts.

Discussion

Siswa mampu membuat teks deskriptif lisan dan tulis, pendek dan sederhana, berkaitan dengan orang, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan, secara benar dan sesuai konteks. Siswa mampu menghasilkan teks deskriptif lisan dan tulis sederhana yang berkaitan dengan orang, benda, dan tempat yang koheren. Pengertian teks deskriptif, contoh dan penggunaannya antara lain: Siswa dan guru secara bersama-sama mendiskusikan jawaban atas pertanyaan yang telah diajukan oleh siswa.

Menanyakan hal-hal yang belum dipahami, atau guru mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan kepada siswa terkait pemahaman materi teks deskriptif, contoh dan penggunaannya, yang akan dilengkapi dengan pembelajaran. Catatan: Saat pembelajaran memahami teks deskriptif, contoh dan penggunaannya, guru mengamati sikap siswa dalam pembelajaran, meliputi sikap: nasionalisme, disiplin, percaya diri, perilaku jujur, ketangguhan dalam menghadapi masalah tanggung jawab, rasa ingin tahu, peduli lingkungan lingkungan. Catatan: Sambil mempelajari ungkapan memberi dan meminta informasi yang berhubungan dengan orang, guru mengamati sikap siswa selama pembelajaran, meliputi sikap: nasionalisme, disiplin, percaya diri, perilaku adil, sulit menghadapi masalah tanggung jawab, rasa ingin tahu, peduli lingkungan.

Mengaitkan materi/tema/kegiatan pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan dengan pengalaman siswa dengan materi/tema/kegiatan sebelumnya. Guru mengumpulkan informasi tentang orang-orang yang disukai atau diminati siswa dengan cara memberikan lembaran individu kemudian meminta siswa mendeskripsikan tempat tersebut dalam bahasa Indonesia. Catatan: Selama pembelajaran konteks menyampaikan informasi terkait orang yang sedang berlangsung, guru mengamati sikap siswa dalam pembelajaran, meliputi sikap: nasionalisme, disiplin, percaya diri, perilaku jujur, tangguh dalam masalah tanggung jawab, rasa ingin tahu, kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.

Guru mengumpulkan informasi tentang orang-orang yang disukai atau diminati siswa dengan memberi mereka lembaran individu dan kemudian mengajukan pertanyaan.

CONCLUSION

Based on the result of the research and data analysis using Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS 16.0, the researcher concluded that the use of Hand Puppet has an effective influence on the teaching of vocabulary for first grade students MTs Hadil Ishalah Bilebante academic year 2019/2020. Based on the result of this study, there is a different average in the performance of students in effectively teaching vocabulary with a hand puppet. Because students in the experimental group showed good improvements and also treatments in an oral presentation.

The evidence as seen in the total score, total difference and mean from pre-test to post-test of one experiment. Students in the experimental group prove that through the implementation in learning, the learning process becomes more interesting and the students found it easier for them to answer and solve the material, which helps them better understand the material. In addition, the result of the independent t-test analyzed using paired-samples t-test in SPSS 16.0 showed that the tcount>ttable was 10,552>2,064 with the significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) less than lt;0.05) means that alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.
