ABSTRACT
During the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, a part of investors had to work from home and spent most of their time at their accommodations. This had adversely affected their physical and metal conditions, as well as, ultimately changed their life styles from offline living to online one. As stock investment behavior connected to investors’ decision-making process, it was necessary to identify what factors involved with stock investment decision especially in the time of ambiguity. Hence, systematic literature review with CIMO framework was applied to search related literatures on academic databases.
The inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected and documented. The documentary data was extracted and categorized into the stated framework, and then, analyzed through narrative analysis. The research results showed that psychological and sociological factors were fairly influential in stock investment decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results could have practical implications for policy makers who are responsible for promoting investing in stocks as savings so as to enhance financial literacy and status of a country’s citizens.
