We believe that this manuscript is appropriate for publication by Majalah Kedokteran Bandung because in this paper, we show you the newest analysis regarding host and socioeconomic factors as health determinants in malaria. We show that age has an association with malaria and age ≥40 years old is a risk factor for malaria. Given the World Health Organization target of malaria elimination in 35 countries by 2030 is right in front of our eyes, we believe that this finding presented in our paper will help scientists and health workers especially those who subscribe to Majalah Kedokteran Bandung. Thus, our findings will allow your readers to understand the importance of paying attention towards host and socioeconomic factors in the process of diagnosis, therapy, and elimination of malaria.
