Disappearing Dialogue (Nagoya Communication arts vocational college, publication of Japan Association for Language teaching), published January 2, 2003. The purpose of this study is the effectiveness of using disappearing dialogue in speaking skills. How is the speaking skill of the students who are taught using disappearing dialogue technique in tenth grade students of MA Ma'arif Klego, Jenangan, Ponorogo in the academic year 2015/2016.
How is the students' speaking skills taught using lecture technique in tenth grade students of MA Ma‟arif Klego, Jenangan, Ponorogo in the academic year 2015/2016. To know the students' speaking skill which is taught in the academic year 2015/2016 from the use of disappearing dialogue in eloquence in tenth grade students of MA Ma‟arif Klego, Jenangan, Ponorogo. The result of the research can improve the knowledge about the teaching of speaking and learning using disappearing dialogue.
This study is expected to contribute to the teachers, especially the English teachers of MA Ma‟arif Klego, Jenangan, Ponorogo, in enriching their knowledge about the importance of the disappearance of dialogue in speaking skills. This research entitled “The Effectiveness of Disappearing Dialogue in Speaking Skill (quasy experimental on the tenth grade student of MA Ma‟arif Mlego, Jenangan, Ponorogo in the academic year) is organized into 5 chapters.
Theoretical Background 1. Speaking
Most people master the art of speaking in the single most important aspect of learning a second language or foreign language and success is measured in terms of the ability to hold a conversation in the language. 13. When teachers teach English, they must make sure that the students can speak meaningfully when they speak. After teacher knows how to teach speaking, they must be able to measure the students' performance in speaking and know the criteria to judge students' performance.
According to Penny Ur's speaking test, there are two criteria used to assess students' performance namely accuracy and fluency.27. First, the teacher must access the students' learning zone through participatory activity to stimulate the learning process. Second, the teacher must help the students in activity to identify what the students must or need to know, as a hook for the unknown and unknown.
Third, the teacher and students should work together to expand students' understanding of information or material in a new situation. 28. Teaching not only transfers information but also directs student learning activities that are used by the teacher to provide input to students. From Hughes states, teaching speaking needs several ways and roles to make students use the target language fluently.
The researcher gives to the conclusion the definition about disappearing dialogue, i.e. the teacher writes the dialogue/sentences on the board and then the students read it together.
Step 1: Explain to students that they are going to practice a conversation with their classmates. Write the dialogue on the
Step 2: Model the conversation and have students repeat with conversation-style intonation
Step 3: Ask students to stand up, find a partner, practice the dialogue once, change roles, and then find another partner with whom

Continue removing more words every few minutes until almost all of the dialogue is deleted. From the experiment here, the researcher got a significant information that indicates that English sentence memorization has an effect on improving the speaking skill, which can give a user of the proposed e-learning the educational tip/motivation. Making students speak English easily is one of the alternative techniques of teaching speaking suggested in this study to make dialogue disappear.
This technique is designed to familiarize students with the sounds and structural patterns of language. An experiment is a scientific investigation in which the researcher manipulates one or more independent variables, controls any other relevant variables, and observes the effect of the manipulations on the dependent variable. One way to check for the presence of intervening variables is to randomly select the sample included in the research.
Define the accessible population of the Choose two classes from all the exciting classes that are at equivalent level. Randomly select one of the classes in the experimental group and another the control group. In this step, the researcher applied disappearing dialog method in experiment class and conventional method in control class.
Population is defined as all members of any well-defined class people, event or subject.41 According to Suharsimi, population is everything of object that will be researched in an observation.42 So, population is all members in the field of the research. Using the right technique in collecting data is important to take the objective data. Test is a way of carrying out a research that is task-shaped or task-stripped that must be worked on by the learners or group of students until it yields a behavioral value or students' performance, which is compared with the value of the other students or based on default value. 48.
In this test section, the researcher had to know whether the test is valid or not. Validity means the extent to which inferences made from assessment results are appropriate, meaningful and useful in terms of the purpose of the assessment.49 A test is said to have validity if the result is in accordance with the criterion, in terms of parallels between the result of test with benchmark. Furthermore, in giving the interpretation of the correlation coefficient, Masrun said “item that has a positive correlation with the criterion (total score) and a high correlation, indicating that the item also has a high validity.
The reliability of the result of the above calculation was the value of variable instrument reliability student's is 1.109. Documentation technique is the way to collect data by photos, old periodicals, magazines, etc.52 in this research documentation, the documentation was used to find out the name of the subject and the profile of the school from MA Ma'arif Klego.
CHAPTER IV RESEARCH RESULT
Data Description
After that, the students were given the first treatment of the missing dialogue, the material was “seeking direction”. In this step, the students were given the second exercises to increase their speaking ability; through repetition and memorization and practicing the dialogue in front of the class. This was one of the principles in experimental research, different treatment with the same material.
The lecture technique was not a new technique taught by the teacher in the teaching and learning process. So, the students were familiar with the method by which the students paid attention to the teacher, or when the teachers had a lot of material, an appropriate technique would be that the students would . it was boring, it was not interesting and the class was very crowded because the teachers could not control the situation in the class.
Data Analysis
The use of disappearing dialogue technique is not effective in the skills of tenth grade students in MA Ma‟arif Klego, Jenangan, Ponorogo in the academic year 2015/2016. The use of the lecture technique is not effective in the dexterity of the tenth grade students in KK Ma‟arif Klego in the academic year 2015/2016. There are no differences between the use of the disappearing dialogue technique and the lecture technique in speaking skill in the tenth grade.
The use of disappearing dialogue technique is effective in the skills of tenth grade students in MA Ma‟arif Klego, Jenangan, Ponorogo in the academic year 2015/2016. The use of the lecture technique is effective in the abilities of the tenth grade students in MA Ma‟arif Klego in the academic year. The discussion was used to answer the hypothesis that the disappearing dialogue technique was an effective use in increasing the speaking ability of the tenth grade students of KK Ma‟arif Klego in the academic year 2015/2016.
If tot is higher than tt (tot>tt ), the result Ho was rejected and Ha was pret rejected. The use of disappearing dialogue technique is not effective in improving proficiency of the tenth grade students at MA Ma‟arif Klego, Jenangan, Ponorogo in the academic year 2015/2016. There are no differences between the use of disappearing dialogue technique and lecture technique in spiking skill in tenth grade students at MA Ma‟arif Klego, Jenangan, Ponorogo in the academic year 2015/2016.
The use of lecture technique is effective in increasing the skills of tenth grade students of MA Ma'arif Klego in the academic year 2015/2016. There are differences between using disappearing dialogue technique and lecture technique in spiking skills of tenth grade students of MA Ma'arif Klego, Jenangan, Ponorogo in the academic year 2015/2016. The use of lecture technique was effective in speaking skills to the tenth grade students of MA Ma'arif Klego in the academic year.
Since the result of this research was effective, it was necessary to analyze to determine why the technique was effective. This is due to the fact that the disappearing dialogue technique is easy to use for students as well as teachers. The disappearing dialogue technique made it easier for students to practice and also increase their confidence.
