Buku ini tentang bahasa Inggris untuk II. kelas sekolah dasar menekankan kemampuan siswa untuk menggunakan bahasa Inggris secara lisan. Oleh karena itu, buku ini menyajikan materi yang dapat memotivasi siswa untuk berani berbicara walaupun dengan kosa kata yang terbatas.
Meski mengutamakan keterampilan lisan, bukan berarti buku ini tidak memuat materi gramatikal. Materi tata bahasa dalam buku ini disajikan secara terpadu sehingga materi yang disajikan tidak hanya pengetahuan tetapi juga dapat digunakan oleh siswa. Selain itu, buku ini juga menyajikan rangkaian kegiatan permainan yang selain menyenangkan, juga menuntut siswa untuk berpikir dan mengulang kembali materi yang telah dipelajari.
Namun demikian, kontribusi berupa kritik atau saran apapun tentang buku ini sangat diharapkan. Akhir kata, semoga buku ini dapat memberi warna baru di tengah maraknya buku bahasa Inggris untuk sekolah dasar.

Kartu dikumpulkan dan dapat direkatkan pada selembar karton kemudian digantung di dinding kelas. Berdasarkan kartu yang diperoleh, siswa kedua mengucapkan salam dan siswa pertama harus menjawab (lihat contoh). Guru dapat meminta siswa menggunting gambar dan kata pada halaman 121 dan 123 untuk digunakan sebagai alat permainan ini.
Jika jawabannya benar, guru meminta perwakilan kelompok untuk menempelkan kartu-kartu dengan kata-kata sesuai dengan objek yang ada pada gambar. Setelah selesai, ia menunjukkan gambar tersebut kepada teman-temannya dan menyebutkan jenis-jenis pakaian pada gambar dan warna pada gambar tersebut. Kemudian guru memperkenalkan nama-nama bagian tubuh dan memberikan contoh lagu yang akan dinyanyikan baris demi baris, siswa menirukannya.
Guru juga menginstruksikan siswa untuk menyanyikan lagu tersebut sambil memainkan peran sesuai dengan isi lirik lagu tersebut.
