July 19, 1905 Dear Prof Binns:-

Received your letter yesterday and was glad to learn that you have made glazes for a lower temperature. I think that will be much better than trying to force the kiln to mature the 04 glazes. I suppose you will test the new glaze before you send it to be sure it is satisfactory. I hope however that you can send it quite soon because they are anxious to get things going here. You only mentioned blue and green in your letter. I suppose you will make other colors later. I would like it very much if you could send about 1000 grams of the base clay so that I could be working out some colors too. Also the bright glaze and the cones which I mentioned in my last letter would be very useful if you can spare them.

Hoping the new glazes will come as soon as possible and thanking you for your trouble in making them I am

Yours sincerely Arthur E Baggs

Dear Professor, Your kindly letter came some days ago, and now you will be glad to hear that a turn in the tide at last gives me some hope that after all we may be able to make this

Aug 6, 1906 Dear Professor Binns, Father is just about to conclude a deal with parties in Carbon, Indiana, whereby I will secure the sort of position I want.. In case this goes through

Mch 26, 06 Dear Professor Binns, No doubt you will be interested to learn that I won my point in regard to the kiln that we built a 6 ft round kiln 6 feet diameter holding 150 saggers,

Grueby is loath to admit it, but I think that now I can soon prove it to him, as I should place trials in every kiln, with?. for white enamels and not
