White Hall Ill. Jan. 16, 1905 Dear Professor Binns
Things have reached a place with me where I am doing nothing but routine work and little offers to my mind to write of. The start is to be made on a very small scale and my work will include the dipping and setting of the ware at first. Then (?) will offer nothing new to write on and can be dispersed of in short order.
If you have any suggestions as to papers that will help you I will be glad to have of them(?) I have been thinking that perhaps I might write a single big paper, describing the manufacture of stoneware from clay pit to box car and send photos of the various operations. This paper of course to cover a big part of my required work, owing to the time required to receive the pictures as then things would have to be done at odd moments.
Yours very truly, Paul E. Cox
