Judul Skripsi: The effectiveness of computer-assisted language learning through Youtube application to improve students' listening skills at MTS Guppi Sampeang 8th grade. The effectiveness of computer-assisted language learning through YouTube application in improving students' listening skills (a pre-experimental research on the eight grade students of MTS Guppi Sampeang). This research to find out how to improve students' listening skills after applying the youtube application method as learning to eight grade students in MTS Guppi säkeg that focused on the main idea and supporting details.

It can be seen in the improvement of students' scores from pre-test and post-test in terms of finding implicit information, ad completion text, the average score improved from 38.20 to 67.40 in completion of text, students' average score improved from 39.00 to 66.00. Praise and great gratitude sent to the almighty god, Allah SWT, who always gives her grace and immense blessing that help the author to finish this thesis titled is The Effectiveness of Computer Assisted Language Learning through Youtube Application to Improve the Listening Skills of Students in Eighth class of MTS Guppi Sampeang. Based on the above statements, the researchers aim to investigate the Effectiveness of Computer Assisted Language Learning through YouTube application to improve students' listening skills in MTS GuppiSampeang. Does the use of computer-assisted language learning through the youtube application improve students' listening ability in terms of finding implicit information. Does the use of Computer Assisted Language Learning through the youtube application improve students' listening ability under test completion conditions.

It is said that using YouTube in the learning process can increase students' ability to hear foreign language learning because it is not boring and can help students learn the language in a more relaxed way. Selecting means that listeners use only part of the incoming information while making sense of the input. Listening is one of the subjects studied in the field of language study and in the discipline of conversation analysis.

Is youtube the most polluting site in the internet world today that can provide value editing to education / education. In the core program, CALL is used in a broad sense to refer to any undertaking that involves computers in language teaching and learning. CALL was first discovered in the 1960s based on mainframe and material practice, particularly the PLATO system of the University of Illinois.

Then CALL began to spread in several universities from a small computer to the education system in the early 1980s. CALL in listening learning was the most important thing to be prepared for in the planning phase. In planning the implementation of CALL in listening learning. First, the teacher does some preparation by understanding the lesson plan (planning the implementation of learning) contained in the curriculum KTSP combined with the state of the curriculum.

It can therefore be established that the application of CALL in listening learning cannot be implemented only in SMPN 41. BULUKUMBA was only an international pioneering school, but in other schools it can also be applied in the presence of these components. Learning model CALL in the current era has been the use of computers not only for purposes that are administrative, informative and amusing, but the computer is also used in other aspects of life, one of which is on teaching and learning activities. In this learning model, teachers make use of existing audiovisual facilities in the computer so that the subject material can be easily understood by the students.

And the influence of youtube is very important in the learning process of students and they can also be more interested in learning in his class. Therefore, it is better for teachers to diligently search for learning material in the form of YouTube videos, which are then communicated to students.

The researcher used the listening text as an instrument to obtain data in finding implicit information and completing the text to obtain information about the growth of students' listening skills. The findings of the research present the result of improving students' listening ability through the YouTube application to understand implied information and complaint text. Based on the table above, it can be seen that in the pre-test result, the students' ideal score was 100, the highest score was 50, and the lowest score was 25.

Based on the results of the pre-test, it was found that the ideal score of the students was 100 and the highest score was 50, of the lowest score 25. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test students can be said that the results of the analysis N -GAIN has a significant difference in terms of Finding Implicit Information and Completing Text. This means that an increase in students' listening skills by using the YouTube application can be said to be an increase in the (medium) category.

This part presents a discussion that deals with the interpretation of the research results derived from the result of data analysis and researcher note under the researcher to depict the improvement of the students' listening skill by using the youtube application. In this part, the research on "Improving students' listening skills using the CALL YouTube application in terms of finding implicit information" discusses the result obtained from pre- and post-test. In this part, the research discusses "The improvement of students' listening skills using the CALL YouTube application in terms of text completion".

Based on the above explanation, the improvement of students' average scores in pretest and posttest was proved by using youtube application very effective to improve students' listening ability. Improving students' listening skills using songs (An Action Research on Second Year Students of MA Pancasila Bengkulu, 14-15. Students' favorite activities for English listening classes (a survey conducted on semester students second and fourth of the English Department of FKIP Universitas Bengkulu Academic Year 2005/2006).

FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

Findings

The results of this research deal with scoring classification at pre- and post-test of the students. The purpose of this study was to know the effectiveness of computer-assisted language learning through the YouTube application to improve students' listening skills. The data from pre-test and post-test used the formula chapter to know that students improve by listening.

The purpose of this test is to measure students' listening skills and answer the given implicit information.

Discussion

In this study, the researcher took the youtube application as a learning media that aims to make students more interested and discover new things in the learning process, so that the mood and intentions to learn English can be increased more than before. In this study, the researcher took two indicators from listening as a problem statement, namely finding implicit information and completing text. The result of the analysis that there was a significant difference means score improved in terms of finding implicit information and completing text.

How-to videos on YouTube can be used as interactive learning in the classroom and for students themselves through an online or offline presentation. The use of YouTube as a medium for learning English can be used at any time without being spatially and temporally limited by the computer or media presentation requirements associated with the Internet. In this study, the researchers used implicit information retrieval and text completion as a pre-test and post-test with the goal that students were able to identify the text that was implied to answer and complete the text provided.

The reason of the research takes two indicators of listening including finding implicit information and text completion, so that students' learning mood and passion can be further improved, besides the boredom of English learning students can also be reduced. because of this different learning process. The first part presents some conclusions based on the data analysis and findings in the previous chapter. Based on the analysis and discussion of the data collected in the previous chapters, it can be concluded that the use of Youtube applications for learning listening has influenced the increase of students' listening skills in terms of finding implicit information and completing the text.

This means that the use of Youtube applications can improve students' listening skills in terms of finding implicit information and completing the text in the intermediate category. Students' listening skill as youtube applications will be able to improve, it is recommended that English teachers be able to use youtube as a teaching media in school so that it becomes a reference in the implementation of a process better learning for the future. Correlation between enjoyment in listening to English songs and students' achievement in listening comprehension of first semester students of Bengkulu universities.
