The sessions will begin at 8 p.m. Friday with a discussion on "Relevant Directions in·

Social Science." The Saturday morning program will focus on "Countering Represession, Some Recent Experiences," "Militarization of High Schools," "Abolition of the Loyalty Oath for Lobbyists in Indiana," "The Future of the Urban University," "Eliminating Poverty in the United States," "Racism," and "Aspects of Marxist Theory."

The Saturday afternoon schedule features "Problems in Urban Development," "A Plan for the Political, Social Class and Racial Reorganization of Metropolitan Regions,"

"Sexism and the Media," "The New Coup in Greece," "Problems in Participatory Democracy,"

and "Recent Developments in Chile."

The conference will end with a Sunday morning business session. Cost for attending is $5 for employed persons and $2 for students and unemployed persons.

The program is being sponsored by the Midwest~onference for Rele~a~t Socia~cience.

"Love of the Seven Dolls," Friday through Sunday (April 19-21) at theM Buildin_g.. Gallico's stories have appeared in many national magazines and this one has been adapted to the

For . ..the __ Kiddie.? -- The final company to participate in the Clowes Children's Theater Series, as part of the Lilly Endowment American Heritage Program, will be the Paper Bag Players. "I Won't Take a Bath," a humorous series of childhood fantasies, will be presented Saturday (April 20) at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. General admission is $1.50.

IJ~.rron Winner, Again -- For the third year in a row, a student at the Herron School of Art_has wo~~Q~O from the American Veterans of World War II, Korea and Vietnam CAMVETS), for producing t~winning entry in the National Poster Contest, which AMVETS co-sponsors with the Pres~dp~'s Committee on Employment of the Handicapped. ~!~gents are_initiated into scholastic honoraries at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in the faculty dining room at the Union Building. Freshmen men and women, showing superior academic achievement, will be initiated into Phi Eta Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta. To be eligible each student must have earned a minimum of a 3.5 grade average and completed between 12 and 26 semester hours.

Dr. Thomas Jones, professor of social service, has been elected to the advisory board of Concerned People·~ Action through Corrective Teamwork.

Dr. Donald J. Niederpruem, professor of microbiology, is the new president of the Indiana Branch of the American Society for Microbiology. He also will become the president of the microbiological section of the Botanical Society of America in 1975.

Resources Program,has been awarded the British Life Assurance Trust for health education Certificate of Educational Commendation.

staff member of Fortune-Fry Research Laboratories and visiting professor of radiolog~ has been accepted as a fellow of the American Physical Society.

Dr. Clarence E. Grim, associate professor of medicine, has been elected as a fellow in the American College of Physicians. Dr. Grim, who received his medical education at the University of Missouri and Duke University, joined the SCOR-Hypertension Center last August.

Dr. John G. Weiha~pt, assistant dean for academic affairs of the School of Science, has been selected as consulting editor for the publication of Introduction to Physical

and Biological Oceanography and Introduction to Marine Geomorphology by C.A.M. King.

Both will be PJ\'lished by McGraw Hill.
